Hi,
what is the hostname, file protocol and port?
Using stable.com I can’t access with those credentials via FTP nor via SFTP port 21 or 22.
Let us know,
Thanks
Best practice is to redirect all attachment posts to the main URL anyway. That’s why Yoast offers it as an option. It’s what anyone with basic SEO knowledge does.
SEO has nothing to with this.
For each image uploaded via the media library wordpress create 1 post in the wp_post database table (type:attachment) for each size you have in nedia settings.
In the worst case scenario, it creates 1 post for the original img, 1 for the large, 1 for the medium, 1 for the small and 1 for the thumbnail size.
If you have a directory with 1000 listings each with 4 images. In the wp_post table of your database you will have 20k posts that you shouldn’t have.
20k useless posts stored on your datbase, just to be able to re-use images instead of re-uploading them isn’t a good idea, otherwise we would have done it in the 1st place.
Thank you

Thanks
GeoDirectory doesn’t use the media librabry for listings.
The media library create 1 post (type:attachment) for each image uploaded via the media library.
If you have 1000 listings each with 4 images, you will create 4k useless posts in your database making your website slower.
It’s much much better to have duplicate images in your upload folder.
Thank you,
Hi,
you only updated the core pluing, but all add-ons are outdated and are all very old version still using the old license system. We cannot autoupdate them.
Please provide FTP credentials and we will update them all at once, it will be faster.

Yes I tested in our demo too. The developers will let us know asap.
Thanks
If you are using Avada you should select Avada.
There is no way to make the plugin automatically adjust to adapt the theme style, whatever is not adapting will need extra css.
Thanks
Hi,
all listings with problems are in category Mixed AVAs.
I opened one and the category selected was not correct. I deleeted the currentl selected “non category”, selected mixed AVAs again and it worked.
You will have to correct them all one by one. They are not that many.
Another problem yuo ahve is the hosting used. GoDaddy WordPress manage plan has a caching system that will create you problems.
It’s not compatible, you should ask them to move you in a VPS.
Thanks

Hi,
that will happen when you have any taxonomy in your database with the same slug.
So it could be a post tag or category, or the taxonomy of another custom post type for example.
Let us know if this helped.
Thanks
Porbably with a membership plugin you can do something similar. I know Guust has some experience with s2member so you can try that, however this is considered a customization and it’s beyond support.
Thanks
Hi,
please try installing this plugin and do a claim listing test: https://wordpress.org/plugins/email-log/
Then in Tools > Email log, check if the notification was logged.
If it was the problem is most likely a mail server problem and most users who face something similar solved it using a SMTP plugin. There are plenty of them on wordpress.org.
Let us know how you went,
Thanks
Hi,
if I start typing London in the near field, I get 2 options London (Region) and London (City).
If I select one I’m automatically redirected to a search in the city of london.
See image attached.
It is not possible to include multiple words for one category, I’m sorry.
Thanks
