Ok since last update Chrome require HTTPS for GeoLocation:
https://developers.google.com/web/updates/2016/04/geolocation-on-secure-contexts-only?hl=en
This is true for both Android and Desktop browsers.
They are pushing everyone to use SSL for their website.
There is nothing we can really do about it. Time to get a SSL certificate.
Thanks
Hi,
please add this to your custom css:
.home .site-header { background-color: transparent; }This is considered customization and as such beyond support.
here you have a tutorial on how to modify css: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/
There are also plugins that facilitate writing custom css like : https://wordpress.org/plugins/so-css/
Thank you,
Via theme customizer >> header: change the logo, if you don’t want any logo, load a blank transparent image.
Thanks
Hi,
we don’t provide support for your server/FTP. You must get in touch with your hosting provider for that.
Thank you
You probably missed this sticky topic : https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/missing-update-notifications/
You are welcome 🙂
You are welcome 🙂
Hi,
you should really update the add-ons no matter what. You shouldn’t be using an outdated add-on with the latest version of the core plugin.
If they are not willing to change OpenSSL to a recent version, you should really consider moving to a better hosting provider. On that server you won’t be able to collect payments through paypal or stripe because of that.
I asked to Stiofan to look into your other problems.
Thanks
Hi,
you need to add the Events add-on and add at least 1 event listing to see that select field.
Categories would go in the “search for” field. If you install the advance search add-on you can have a category select in the “customize my search” filters. The select with places is for Custom post types, not categories.
You would need the advance search add-on for catgeories, for tags it will not work. I don’t think there is anything compatible out there, as we use a custom db structure.
Thanks
Hi,
this is the service we use: https://google-developers.appspot.com/maps/documentation/javascript/examples/full/map-geolocation
Better tested with Chrome.
Is it giving a different result?
Let us know,
Thanks
I would yes…
Hi,
you have outdated location and payment manager add-ons. You probably missed this post: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/missing-update-notifications/
I updated everything for you, let us know if problems persist.
Thanks
1) I’m not sure where the problem is, please provide a link
2) Supreme theme removes the customize my search button from the featured area search widget. it would break the design if left there. You can add it back, and restyle to make sure it looks good on your website. It’s simply hidden by default with css
3) I’m not sure where the problem is, please provide a link
4 and 5) please provide a link. We can’t inspect images.
Thanks
Hi,
Stiofan is working in fixing the event single page. I did miss to add some important elements when I originally made it.
It wil take another couple of days of work, so I guess next wednesday or thursday should be released.
Thanks
BTW, I’ve updated and changed licenses on hundreds of websites in the past 2 months. I’m probably faster than the avarage user, but I can assure you that 5 minutes per website isn’t irrealistic.
Please try now, let us know,
Thanks
