Hi Kor,
I have updated the timezone and it seems still after doing that we need to correct the time saved in GD as when i tried import/export i saw time was saved as below.[“Mo 10:00-21:00″,”Tu 10:00-21:00″,”We 10:00-21:00″,”Th 10:00-21:00″,”Fr 10:00-21:00”],[“UTC”:”+5.5″]
But for some listings it was [“UTC”:”0″]
which means we need to update all listings with time saved as [“UTC”:”0″].
Please correct me if i am wrong.
Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply, it is working for me but it seems to be a very heavy plugin with lots of options.I will find out a light solution for me in future, but as of now it is best fit for my need.
Thanks

November 21, 2019 at 6:53 pm in reply to: Old request for categories filter customization in 'Search Box'. #518204Hi Alex,
In the first link we requested a customization which is location to be cached as soon as we select it so that categories auto submit will work with location, GD team corrected that error in old version,
In the 2nd link the the topic was different but we requested 1 customization in selecting categories for a large website. Below is the suggestion we gave:——******——******——******——******——******——******——******
Thanks for posting this question Surender. I hope you don’t mind me posting here. Alex you replied “No, we recommend that you only add categories to which you plan to add listings.”The problem is this… if you are trying to encourage new listings you don’t want users to be making up their own categories. So it is good to have the categories ready even if there are no listing in them.
So to have them available on the backend when adding a new Listing is helpful.. but not to be searchable and show No Results.
Should be an easy fix with the coding.. shouldn’t it?
——******——******——******——******——******——******——******Suggestion in short was:
Right now after enabling advance search Autocompleter Settings once user select any location it gets cached, after that it shows listings which belongs to that location in search box suggestions but it does not happen for categories. We want same function for categories so that search box will give more specific results based on location.The reason we wanted this function is because while managing a website for a large geographical area there are different categories which people may want in different locations. For example as of now we are working for indian business directory and some states have beaches, some has glaciers, same has waterfalls and some has deserts, based upon those conditions their living style and needs are different.
Which is why we requested that function and requested you to put that in future development in GeoDirectory.
Please advise if it is done and if ‘yes’ how can we implement that.
Thanks
Surender Mehra.Good Morning Alex,
Thank you soo much this is working exactly the same way i was trying.Thanks for your support. Please close this topic.
Surender MehraBelow is the code i am using right now.
.geodir-claim-post-form-link {
visibility:hidden;
}
I am sending you a screenshot how it looks like when we remove this code. In the image ‘update Information’ is the GD Claim ninja form.For the highlighted area I only want to either hide completely or rename something else for text ‘Unclaimed’
Hiding will be a good idea, But above code also hide claim post all shortcode links and widgets.
If you think doing that might get into conflict with other functions then we can leave it and we will use ninja forms link to achieve our goal.
Thanks
Surender MehraI do not see the claim post link on that page. Let us know if you need help to hide it.
It is because I have already hide that link with css, however the problem is that when we hide that link it also hides ‘Post Claim’ widgets link, Using shortcodes or widgets are not working after that for post claim function.
As a temporary solution i have already added GD post claim ninja form. site is live and getting a traffic of 1K visitors everyday, that is why we had to use CSS as a temporary solution to remove it completely.
What i was asking, Is there a way of hide/rename text which is close to listing title on the details page and then we can add post claim widget or shortcodes in the sidebar or some other place which should be visible to owner because we can rename it easily.
Thanks

Hi Kor,
It is kind of funny whenever you ask for WP admin access the problem is solved. I found the issue today morning. It was a small setting again a check box which has to be checked. but let me also share what happened so that it might help others.
After the settings that i found in
Settings>> Discussion>> Default article settings>> allowed people to post comments on new articles(checkbox) the new listings started loading reviews but the previous listings had no comment tag associated with them.The other settings is to go to CPT>> Listings>> Quick Edit>> Allow Comments on those listings.
Now things are in place, You can close this topic.
Thanks for your support
