    Hi @pinkgecko,

    There was some issue reported when doing multisite removals, we have already added a fix for this but its not released yet (should be monday/tuesday). If you can provide wp-admin and Database access we would be happy to clean this up for you, otherwise it would just be a case of deleting all GD posts, categories and tags and then removing the tables.

    Hello,

    There does seem to be issues with the type of apostrophes used, this can be often fixed by making sure they are all the same and correct type. We have a task open to look at this and we will update you once we have a better solution.

    Hi Andrew,

    There is currently no way to do that, this was done for a few reasons. A NEAR search is always ordered by distance to the center point but a IN search can have different ordering and for example show featured first (where a NEAR search can’t).

    Also with google implementing billing for API requests our system will only do a search if it fails to find any info in the site database first.

    If after that info its still something you would like then we would need to look into adding an option as its not possible currently.

    Hi Scott,

    I am still not convinced this is the best way to do things but i am happy to discuss it.

    If you have 50 filters and no category selected then that could be very confusing to a user as it will show all 50 filters. Using CPTs for specific Industries will let your user pick between industries and then the filters will change per CPT, maybe thats better suited here?

    If you can give a few examples of more filters you will be using it might help me advise you better.

    Hi Scott,

    That is kinda my point, if the thing you are looking to filter is a direct filter only to that parent category then this is really a sub category, if its something that is not directly related to the parent cat but to multiple cats then that is filter territory.

    Not every user filters by category in a directory, in this case all filters would show, which could get mighty confusing if you intend to add many filters as stated.

    If “Soy” is only related to “candles” i would make it sub cat.
    Things that relate to your main CPT “shopping” would be filters because it is not affected by the category, so “accepts bitcoin” might be a filter.

    That error can be for a number of reasons, i think the most common is running out of hosting disk space.

    Hi Jonathan,

    WordPress have some funny rules that we have to skirt around, that is the reason we don’t install WPEU when GD is installed.

    We are working on a better way to do things, it should be an option by the end of the month.

    I have edited the roles so it should not be an issue now, i don’t see GD active but when u add it back u should be able to login normally.

    This was due to a missing edd_slug setting for the new addons, i have added this now, the cache time is 12 hours so it should be reflected after that.

    Hi Scott,

    Yes, i though you meant something much more complex…

    Usually we recommend breaking up listing into CPT for different industries so you can have specific filters for that industry. In this case you are targeting a wide array of industries on the one CPT. I must ask though, is for the example you used a sub category not a better option? This can be setup so if viewing the “candels” cat it will show only the sub cat options on that page to allow further filtering without even using search.

    Attaching filters to cats is something that i don’t ever remember being asked for.

    If you disable reviews it assumes you still want comments.
    You can edit the “Archive Item” page template and remove the 

    [gd_post_rating]

    shortcode to remove that icon from there.
