Hi Alex,
I understand but maybe someone of you GD Dev’s can suggest or give advice or at least to point us in the direction which necessary changes are in need to get it back to run in GDv2.
You help would be very generous and highly appreciated to be able to proceed with the functions of the gtvouchers addon.
Best, Alex
Hi GD Dev’s
As the GTVouchers Devs are not answering and stopped their service I need your help to proceed with my own developer do get GTVouchers back to run in GDv2.Now my dev is asking the following and I need you help to proceed:
GTVouchers are not updated version in GDv2
Do you have any information for the same?It would be great to get the corresponding help or advice to get GTVouchers back to run also in GDv2.
Thanks in advance for helping me to solve this issue.

great – it works now!!!
How am I able to create own customized fields like “featured” to be used as Predefined Fields within custom fields settings?

P.S. I am also on the way to enable GT-Vouchers for GDv2 to use the same option to display voucher banners within specific price types, like it is used for featured listing price type.
April 29, 2019 at 6:01 am in reply to: GDv2 Upgrade Problem – Featured Listing Arrangement + Featured Banner Missing #483368Hi Guust,
I was trying to use your instructions from above and added the code
[gd_post_badge key='featured' condition='is_not_empty' badge='FEATURED' bg_color='#fd4700' txt_color='#ffffff' css_class='gd-ab-left-angle gd-badge-shadow']
within “GD Archive Item” but still I am getting not the banner badget result of featured image you have in your example > Screenshot > https://www.screencast.com/t/wwpe5UNq4w
As well if I am arranging the listings with featured also I cannot find the “Morimoto” listing as well.
Here my queries:
1. What is in need to establish the same featured banner arrangement as you did in your example?
2. Where are your code snippets stored to be able to add also customized once into that area? Sceenshot > https://www.screencast.com/t/5fAZlKcWGhbb
3. Is there a code snippet overview available to explain which are available and what they do when used?Best, Alex
Hi,
I guess I found the reason why I am unable to access to backend with my admin user credentials. By using a different user and looking into User roles in backend I found that the role of admin has also participant and author included and by deactivating author in GD > general settings this causes the issue of getting forward to homepage instead of backend.I could solve this by using the plugin “User Role Editor” and deleted the author role setting in user settings in the backend.

Hy Alex,
yes by using the edit below the author then it works. Thanks. But
why I am unable to redo the settings for “author” because now I am unable to access into the gd settings to redo those again?I have restricted with same option as stated in your settings info > https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/
I added also subscriber and editor and now I am unable to re-change the settings in backend even as I am registered as admin. If I try to get access to that page, I am getting forward back to homepage.

April 28, 2019 at 3:31 pm in reply to: GDv2 Upgrade Problem – Featured Listing Arrangement + Featured Banner Missing #483290Hi Guuest,
well I have done the upgrade as stated and also the featured price is setup for the listing “Morimoto” https://dev2.worldcheckin.com/gastronomies/united-states/new-york/new-york-city/restaurants/morimoto/ but still the featured banner is not reflecting at the listing.
Any ideas why or how to get all featured price types indicated with the featured banner?

Hi Guust,I have tried by deleting the blocks, create new, saved page and tried to select the corresponding categories but still with same negative result.
Please try by your self it is a dev2 site to be able to change. Let me know your results to be able to reproduce the same.

April 25, 2019 at 5:45 pm in reply to: GDv2 Upgrade Problem – Featured Listing Arrangement + Featured Banner Missing #482879Hi Guust,
thank you very much for the setup of test posts with “featured and new badget”.
My problem is as I am testing with this dev2 site before I go further to upgrade the main page from GDv1 to GDv2. Within this clone site GDv1 > GDv2 I have done the upgrade where featured price types setup has been made within GDv1 and the listing “morimoto” has been one of the featured listing price type setup too.
Now after the upgrade it seems that this featured price type is missing the featured banner and I do not know how to establish the same functionality as GDv1 setup has been made to be automatically setup for all featured and new listings in GDv2.
I do not want to establish the featured banner for individual listings. The featured banner shall be placed for all featured price types.
The “new” badget shall be place at all new listings and shall disappear after 30 days automatically.
How am I able to establish the same?
Best, Alex
April 25, 2019 at 5:24 pm in reply to: GDv2 Upgrade Problem – Missing default category images #482871Dear Alex,
Dear Guust,I guess I’ve found the setting problem.
1. I had to remove the default image from “GD > Settings > Design > Archives > Listing default image” to ensure that other CPT images will also been used.
2. At each CPT Settings > General (show advanced) where I need to add the “default image” which was missing.
Best, Alex
