Category is required.
First add a category in Place Categoo, then the field will allow assignment of the category.
Do all the listongs have categories?
Is category set to be part of the URL?Hello,
there isn’t a setting for that, as what you describe is the expected behavior.
I will flag this for the developers in case they know of a workaround.
Hello!
the CSV file is not formatted properly.
Open the original export CSV with LibreOffice to avoid formatting errors that can be introduced by other editors.
Hello,
the following has been added as a snippet to address a couple of issues, but we will need FTP details in order to continue troubleshooting.
wp_enqueue_style('google-fonts', '//fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Lato:300,700|Roboto:700,300,400', array(), CHILD_THEME_VERSION); wp_dequeue_style( 'google-fonts' ); wp_dequeue_style( 'googleFonts' );FTP Credentials

I need to flag this for the developers to take a deeper look. I cannot see any obvious issues.
There are a couple of known fixes for Avada and Aviabuilder that you can try:
Unable to edit/save listing in frontend or backend – See this topic for a fix: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/listing-description-not-visible-after-saving/page/2/#post-420413
Maps not loading – See https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/unable-to-make-changes-to-records-places-even-as-admin/#post-436922Please share FTP details so the developers can take a look. If you have a staging site that would also allow the developers to troubleshoot the problem more easily.
Thanks

the site appears to be blank. Let us know when it is back up and we can take a look.
Some themes have coded settings to disable WordPress image functions. You can try this snippet to see if it helps:
add_filter( 'geodir_details_default_image_show', '__return_true', 100 );September 26, 2018 at 1:51 pm in reply to: How to make some listing content un-editable for listing claimers #447808Hello,
You can look through the forum to find examples of that kind of customization, or contact an expert here: https://geodirectoryexperts.com We don’t perform customizations here in the forum.
For GDV2, if you get a chance, even with a quick look at a test site and the new tabs interface for the detail page, or the templates for archive and archive items, they will give you very precise control of how your fields are presented.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/templates/
Basically the new tabs interface allows you to drag and drop your way to the exact presentation you want to make.
All that said, you can try disabling non-GD plugins to try to find which one is responsible for stripping the HTML.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/troubleshooting-guide/#conflict
You could also try adding the content as a text widget, and place the widget in the GD Detail Bottom widget area.
Hello,
There isn’t a built in setting for that, no.
There is a widget that has links to the add listings pages: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/widgets/#loginbox
You could also try creating a custom HTML button that opens a link to the add-listing page.
Then you could try putting that button into a widget, and show the widget on the profile pages.
You might try to manage the display of the widget with Widget Logic, a different plugin
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/useful-plugins/#logic
If you need hands on help you can contact an expert here:
http://geodirectoryexperts.com
A developer might do it with some jquery: https://buddypress.org/support/topic/how-to-add-a-button-next-to-a-custom-field-on-members-profile/
Here is the function that removes images for a single listing, this would need to be run for all listings where you want to remove the image.
It allows the choice between different available baselayers.
Thanks for reporting, a task has been created and an update will be posted here when available.
I no longer see comments on that URL.
About the password protection, it could be that the logged in user does not have permissions to change files.
Hello,
we are using Primer simply for testing purposes to narrow down issues. For example, if an issues is happening on a site, an issue we haven’t seen before, we can switch to primer to see if the issue is still present.
We do not recommend Primer or any other theme. GDV2 should work with any theme, and we will endeavor to address all theme related display issues.
If you run into an issue like that, please post your issue to this forum and we will take a look.
Thanks
