Hello!
GD doesn’t have settings to turn off or block emails at this time.
You can request new features here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/requests/
Hello!
You can, yes.
Hello!
FTP works, I see the files in /public_html
We will have a look as soon as possible; thanks for your patience.
Hello!
If you need support with an issue, just let us know. We have our known issues documented here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/known-issues/
Hello!
Make sure each listing has a category assigned to it! https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/dos-and-donts/
Unfortunately this is a common issue, and not directly related to GD. It’s related to any plugin that creates WordPress posts and assigns “”pretty URLs””.
Whether it was a network timeout or the database server ran out or resources, in one way or another, the job of updating your post URLs had a problem. Here’s a couple steps you can take to try to restore them yourself:
1. Install the Easy Updater plugin – https://wpgeodirectory.com/wp-easy-updates/
2. Update all of your GeoDirectory Add Ons and the Core plugin to the latest version – Be sure to do this one at a time to ensure the greatest chance of success.
3. Checkyour Permalinks are set to “”PostName”” and Re-Save your WordPress Permalinks settings – WordPress > Settings > PermalinksIn 80% of the cases, this will solve 404 and Page not Found errors.
For the next 15%, the next step is to de-activate and re-activate the GD plugin, and then visit WordPress Permalinks one more time to re-save the settings.Still having trouble? Write back with a private reply. In your reply be sure to include your site’s URL, and admin credentials so we can take a look at your site if necessary. We recommend you add a new user called “”gdsupport”” and give the user administrator privelages and a temporary password. Share that in your reply, too.
Let us know how that works for you”

Hello!
I just checked and it looks like we are missing that string in DE https://wpgeodirectory.com/translate/projects/geodirlocation/de/default/
Let me ask when we can have that updated.
Hello!
Admin only fields are only hidden from the form but will be visible on the front end and in search.
Additional CSS might be used to hide the field.
One though would be to execute the search, and copy down the URL, perhaps placing it on a personal page accessible only to admins, to use again regularly to execute the search.
Then once you have the search URL and it shows listings, then hide the field with CSS
Additional information about custom fields can be found here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#custom
Hello!

Hello!
With Supreme we are collecting together some snippets, too, though YMMV

There are numerous settings available, and you should check the Pricing settings first, to make sure expiry is enabled, and that listings go to draft. Also check that all those packages in question have a number for alive days. you can test expiry with GD Tools. Set the date to the past and run the expiry tool.
