We have received several requests for the ability to choose specific categories for the GD Category element. I will make a note of your request and the developers will consider it for future versions.
I will ask the developers if they have plans for that.
Try using a shortcode. With builders it is generally better to use shortcodes.
Try the settings on the Location tab in the GD settings.
There are two, one for remove location from archives, the other from the details page URLs.
I see the same thing, it appears to be on the Instagram side of things.
I will ask the developers if they know more.
This reply has been marked as private.Hello,
that is not possible, no. You can create those pages but they will not show the near-me results.
Only the location/near/me and search results pages show near-me results in that way.
Hello,
For #2 you will want to add additional GD Listings elements to the location page template. Add at least one for each post type.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/templates/location/
I will flag your topic for the developers, they may know of a way to add a body class so you can target CSS to the location/near/me page. You could do 1 and 3 like that with your custom CSS.
January 21, 2020 at 4:42 pm in reply to: Is it possible to rent real estate (spaces) to an end customer? I'm stuck #526714Hello,
I responded to your post here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/is-it-possible-to-give-a-price-to-a-place-and-add-to-the-cart/
Let’s continue the conversation there 🙂
Hello,
Our themes use one font at a time.
If you want to use more fonts you will need a 3rd party plugin or a customization.
You can try this: https://www.google.com/search?q=wordpress+google+fonts+plugin
Many plugins come with additional instructions about how to write CSS, too, or you can see our guide here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/
January 21, 2020 at 4:38 pm in reply to: Is it possible to give a price to a place and add to the cart? #526712I can certainly help you get started with setup of GD.
Have you already installed the Pricing Manager?
Claim Manager?
Get those installed
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/pricing-manager/You will also need WP Invoicing. Set that as your cart.
Then install the Claim Manager. Add the claimed field to the ‘places’ CPT.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/claim/
It sounds like you want to make a package like “6 Months” and set a price for it. So add a package for ‘places’ for 6 months.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/packages/
Then, you want to make a listing for each parking space. Start with 1, parking space ‘abc’.
I would also recommend you install UsersWP. Install that and set it up.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/userswp/
The path for your user is:
1. Register
2. Claim the parking space they want and pay for the listing when they claim it.
3. You can then allow them to renew that, or, it expires and you make a new parking space listing.Hi Ron,
You can find that here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/getting-started/front/Did you have a question about one or the other elements on the page?
Have you got access to a shortcode builder on your site?
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/shortcode-builder/
Is that a GD page?
You should do it that way so you are pulling the location data from your Maps API of choice, instead of importing city or other data that does not match the Maps API of your choice.
It works for buffet so take a look at how it is setup and copy that tabs configuration for other CPTs.
