As a workaround you can use the parser option on the Social Importer -> Facebook settings page.
About the connection issue, thanks for reporting, the developers are looking into it.
Use the GD > Author actions widget to display edit links to admin and listing owners. Add it to the sidebar showing on the GD Details page.
Just activate the GeoDirectory addons you need for your site.
You can add your membership key under
GeoDirectory -> Extensions -> Addons -> Membership
If you need to install more addons in the future you can do it from there. You can safely deactivate and delete any addons that you don’t need.
Excellent
Yes, that’s right.
Yes, the video and this doc :
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/upgrade-from-gdv1/Then https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/getting-started/
The getting started page will link out to all the other features.
Everything about permalinks and changing them is covered here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/permalinks/With moving a portion of your data to a new site, you will need to create the categories at the new site before you import the listings.
Please read through this page that covers everything about using GDV2 for importing data

It is possible to manage custom locations with Location Manager.
The way you do it is to create your custom city location, and then merge other cities into that custom location.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/location-manager/#edit
One of the issues with this approach is that the custom location is not returned by the map API, so, new listings will may be located in previously merged cities. For this reason custom locations is not a common solution. We do have plans to create an addon to make it easier to manage custom locations but we don’t have a timeline for that.
You can use those options, certainly. Can you say more about what is ‘showing up wrong’?
Country names are stored in database in original names without translation. It translates country name when displaying to use user. We are working on solution so it can allow to search country name in current language as well. We will update you here once we fix this.
Once UsersWP is installed it will redirect users from the GD built in author pages to their profile where they can see the listings.
Setup for UsersWP is covered here, please check it out:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/userswp/If we should check the settings please add the complete connection info, it is missing a username.
Hello,
Update your GD Archive item with new shortcodes. Try using GD Post Content to display the post_content field.
GD Post Content works with any textarea, so, you can make a field called Custom Excerpt and display it with GD Post Content.
With Elementor you should use GD Post Meta shortcodes.
If you use a key, use geodir_ as a prefix for the field key like
geodir_facebook
I will take those additional fields up as a suggestion for future versions.
Let us know if you run into the issue again.
Your theme’s featured posts widget should not be used on the search page unless you want to show the results there.
The widget includes the page content within it.
Try using a plugin like widget logic to hide that widget on the search page or contact your theme author about the issue. This is not a GD issue.
