The new feature works on my test site. When I view the category archive, the category select dropown in the search bar is automatically set to the corresponding category.
This page does not have the dropdown setup

It could be that location is not set during the render of the menu.Tat is how it works. Once the Pricing manager addon is installed, the field’s value is automatically set. This is described in more details here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/custom/#featuredEdit the Archive item template and remove the shortcode for gd_post_rating
We are checking into it, thanks for reporting.
The developers are still considering adding it to a future version but we can’t give you a date.

Thanks for letting us know!
1. Yoast is the only one we support right now. Many themes supply bredcrumbs.
2. There is not a GD Breadcrumb shortcode.
3. YesSeptember 25, 2019 at 1:08 pm in reply to: How to create Custom Post Type with Multiple Words? #510163It can be multiple words for the labels. I would use Health and Medical, but that is only a preference, either will work for the labels.
1. Try our widget logic examples here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/common-examples/#logic
2. Try using the GD Post Directions widget as a shortcode in a tab. You can also try switching out the map tab as described here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/design/maps/#tab
3. Places – Settings – Custom Fields – Images – Show advanced – file types
Search results are always sorted by relevance for search keywords in title/description/category and tags. If they are featured they receive a ‘boost’ but they are not vaulted to the front of the results.
Sorting by featured is possible with GD Listings (show featured only) or in the CPT Sorting options.
CPT Sorting applies to CPT Archives like /places/ and sorting options are shown in the GD Loop Actions element as a drop down select to sort the results.
September 25, 2019 at 12:03 pm in reply to: Scale down images in listings page proportionally #510159Please use the GD Post Images advanced options to choose the Cover NONE (contain). Let us know how it goes
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/images/
GDV1 used “contain” meaning it did not clip either X or Y. The default for V2 is cover ‘both’ so there can be clipping on either side to make sure the entire area is filled.
