At this time I don’t have a workaround for you on that, but I have added that to a list of items we will review for including in a future version. At this time it would require a customization.

GD and WP will not automatically install updates without some ‘help’. We have only seen this 3 times so far, but in each case there was a setting in the host panel that was being used to automatically install updates. I recommend you check with your host about that, or any 3rd party services you may be using to manage the site. API based services or others with access to WP through the host have been the cause of this in 100% of the other cases.
If you need help to track it down please provide CPanel access in a private reply, in addition to WP Admin credentials.

You will need to pull out the code from Supreme Directory V2 and then customize Kleo to use it, but it sounds like you know that.
If you look in geodirectory.php and content-geodirectory-archive.php you will find references to other functions that you will need to include.
