Whoop hasn’t been updated to GDV2 yet. Probably it will be updated shortly after GDV2 gets on wp.org
The category icons are limited to the Font Awesome icons, new ones cannot be uploaded.
All edits to map icons and category icons are done in the category edit screen.
Map icons and default header images should be uploaded to the media library and then selected when choosing the map icon or category default header. If there is a problem with the category icons not showing, this is usually a Font Awesome conflict. You can adjust the font awesome settings as shown here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/font-awesome/For the geocoding issue, this is most commonly the lack of a billing account being added to the API key project.
Try verifying billing and then check quotas, and if that all looks right create a new key as described here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/google/#easyOther GD plugins are out of date, still.
You can update them manually.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/installing-addons/#manual
I have also flagged your topic for the developers to check on why WP Easy Updates license links aren’t displaying. The pages already exist, probably, if you have added listings there.
Are you using the location in the detail page URL?a location page URL is like
/LOCATION_SLUG/%country% or
/LOCATION_SLUG/%country%/%region%/ or
/LOCATION_SLUG/%country%/%region%/%city%/So, if you have location in the detail page URL, you should be able to place your location slug in there and find the location page.
You should also try out this element to get those URLs.

The categories won’t filter the results further, they will instead link to the archive page that shows all restaurants with the category BBQ.
1. Currently we are recommending the use of Yoast for breadcrumbs. Breadcrumbs may be added in later versions, but we have done some work to make Yoast breacrumbs work better. If you try them out let us know what you think.
2. Yes. GD doesn’t make sitemaps or have settings to verify your site ownership with search.
I will flag your question for the developers in case they have an update to share.
We are currently focused on getting GDV2 deployed to wp.org.You can use the gd_dashboard element
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/design-elements/#gd_dashboardHello,
If there are untranslated strings showing in the interface, open the file in POedit and find the strings to translate them.
Save the files and upload the PO and MO files to the folder
wp-content/languages/plugins/The process is described here:
https://userswp.io/docs/translate/You can also share the PO files here zipped and uploaded and we can take a look if there are strings that cannot be translated.
You could accomplish something similar by using discounts, but ther aren’t any other features in GD that would help you accomplish this.
https://wpinvoicing.com/docs/discounts/
https://wpinvoicing.com/docs/geodirectory/That will require custom code or a 3rd party plugin, both items where we cannot do much for you here in the support forum.
You can contact a 3rd party expert familiar with GD here:

In general I think you are looking for shared login between WordPress and Joomla, which may exist though I have not heard of it before.
I assume you are using GDV1, is that correct?
Please share the URL and WP Admin credentials so we can check your settings.Yes
Check your GD pages
GD – Settings – General – Pages
Look for the location page there and click ‘view’
