You can offer certain discounts by way of different coupons (prepaid, longer term, % off when buying something else on the site or existing customer).
Different coupons can be created for recurring or single payments, with % or $ discounts etc.
Which you then can give when depending on the situation.
A 100% coupon will give a free listing etc.I disable the right sidebar at GD > Design > Home tab.

Having a look at your location switcher, you could see you still had a “bad” location, being row 5 on your data screenshot.
I went to /wp-admin/admin.php?page=geodirectory&tab=managelocation_fields&subtab=geodir_location_manager and merged it, that should have cleaned up your database too.

The map should be set to auto-zoom, and if there are listings all over the world, the map will show the whole world. If there are only a few listings in one country, only those will show.
You can turn off auto-zoom in the map widget, and set to a zoom of about 3 or 4, but that setting then will apply to all location pages.

Fields are refreshed and info not retained only if changing price package; not when entering coupon.

And there is a coupon field on the checkout page.
As a result of the post you linked, the coupon field was moved also to the checkout page.
