I guessed wrong 🙂

The GD plugin should work with any current HTML5 theme. If still stuck, post your FTP and phpMyadmin details and we will have a look. But pick a theme first you intend to stick with.
Also, with the festive season, things will be a bit slower than usual from our end.Send us a URL of that page so we can inspect the code. Also post your admin details in a private reply please.
This reply has been marked as private. Can you post the exact URLs you are talking about and your admin details in a private message.
We cannot debug without checking. We’d need your admin details to have a look.
You’re welcome 🙂
Like I said, both the 2 pages at
GD > Permalinks > Home
and
WP Settings > reading > front page
have to be the same.So I set both of them to “Home”.
I also set “Disable geolocate on first load:” to yes, otherwise there is little point of having a non-GD homepage. You build GD pages at GD > design and with widgets.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/If you want to create a custom page, you normally add shortcodes:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-shortcodes/
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/location-manager-shortcodes/
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/custom-post-type-shortcodes/You need to link to /location to link to your directory.
For translation, you name the folder in the languages folder the same as the folder name of the plugin.
For your detail pages like http://www.colombiaaquiya.com/restaurantes/united-states/new-york/new-rochelle/hotels/chestnut-hill-hotel/
it seems you have some plugin conflicts.
I’ll need to get Paolo to look at that. Try de-activating non-GD plugins until it fixes itself. This is an example detail page: http://wpgeo.directory/hotels/united-states/illinois/chicago/3-stars/acme-hotel/
Can you post your admin details in a private reply, and also give us more details of what is exactly wrong, including URLs where possible.
We might have to look at your database too, and just throw in FTP details just in case.Welcome 🙂
The Add Listing page needs to be the GD page as is. You can change the url or title at Pages > Add Listing, but you should use that one.
If you want to link to another page, then just use Appearance > menus.I hope I understood correctly. URL and admin details in a private message allows us to have a check of your settings if you can’t figure it out.
Hi Shane, that is not possible for the moment, and as far as I know has never been requested before.
You can add it to https://wpgeodirectory.com/requests/ so if enough people vote for it, we’ll consider it.The 2 pages at
GD > Permalinks > Home
and
WP Settings > reading > front page
have to be the same.Swap both of those settings to whatever home page you want.
Your start page of the directory is at http://www.colombiaaquiya.com/location/
Deactivate all GeoDirectory dependent add-ons first before deactivating GeoDirectory.
When activating GD, this message comes up:
The plugin generated 3 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.I have no idea where that comes from. I have never seen that before like that, so I guess that comes from the theme.
The only error I can find is that when you save some settings, rather than re-loading the page, you get a blank page. Just using the back key takes you back to the saved pages then.
Follow the links at the login page:
https://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_do_I_solve_the_Headers_already_sent_warning_problem.3FCheck your config file or switch to a simple theme to see if the problem is somewhere in the theme.
