PS: you can use any custom field the same was as “Featured”, all you need to do is add the badge shortcode to create a badge for that field, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/featured-listings/#badge-setup

You do not need that shortcode on the GD Archive page/template.
But that shortcode should work on a normal WP page, without changing the URL.Please post URL of that page and WP admin details in a private reply if we need to have a look at your settings for you.

I cannot see any difference between the menu on your live and test site. If you want to add an extra link, please do so, but then the menu will be longer and therefore “push down”.
