The default shortcodes used for GD’s category/archive pages do not work on other pages.
If you can explain what you are trying to add to another page, we can give you some more information.GD creates automatically archive pages for each category, each category per location, each custom post type, each custom post type per location, each location. So the page you are thinking about may already exist.
Thanks
March 1, 2019 at 11:55 pm in reply to: Want to hide Country in urls, but option goes away with multiple countries #471984That is not possible when using multiple countries, if using more than one country the slug of the country has to be there to differentiate the different pages.
You still can remove the country slug from the DETAIL pages at WP Settings > Permalinks. But not from the LISTING, CPT and LOCATION pages.
Thanks
Have a look at gd_listings: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/design-elements/#gd_listings
Thanks
1. Are you trying to add new listings or update existing ones?
If adding new listings the column “ID” has to be blank.2. You did not add street address, city, region or country to most listings. All those fields are compulsory for this CPT.
Correct those things and let us know.
Thanks
You’re welcome
You should only use LibreOffice to open and edit CSV files: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/export-data-2/
The Excel file you have will not work for re-importing. Excel breaks the data.
Thanks
That is because you are trying to use the V2 buddypress addon instead of the V1 version.
With GD V1 you need to use all V1 addons. Thanks
I have updated the files as explained at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/updating-your-language-files/
I placed the old files in /wp-content/languages/themes/guust as a backup. Thanks
You’re welcome 🙂
You should not just rename them, but update the ones you have, if you already used them in V1. The process is explained at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/updating-your-language-files/
This is how they should be named and located [see earlier post too]:
/wp-content/languages/themes/supreme-directory-it_IT.po
/wp-content/languages/themes/supreme-directory-it_IT.mo/wp-content/languages/themes/directory-starter-it_IT.po
/wp-content/languages/themes/directory-starter-it_IT.moIf you post your URL and WP admin details and FTP details in a private reply, we can check it out.
That is old text that should no longer be there.
The only child theme for the GD Framework is https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/gdf-modern-gdf-child-theme/The GD framework is not available for V2 of the GD plugin.
The user dashboard is part of the GD plugin, not part of the theme.
Thanks
It looks like one of your non-gd plugins is breaking things a bit.
Please post your URL in a private reply and we will have a look at your settings if you like.
ThanksPlease post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply, and attach a ZIP file of the CSV files.
Or upload the CSV files to your website and give us a link.
Then we can check things out.
ThanksYou should have these files in the directory as shown:
/wp-content/languages/themes/supreme-directory-it_IT.po
/wp-content/languages/themes/supreme-directory-it_IT.mo/wp-content/languages/themes/directory-starter-it_IT.po
/wp-content/languages/themes/directory-starter-it_IT.moThen update those files from
/wp-content/themes/supreme-directory/languages/en_US.po
and
/wp-content/themes/directory-starter/languages/en_US.po
as explained at
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/updating-your-language-files/Thanks
I can now see that sometimes on the first load, the map marker is missing on the map in the tab, or sometimes the marker is there, but the map is not loading all layers it seems.
I cannot see any errors, but I’ll get one of the developers to have a look too.
Thanks
