Did you enable the Claim Listings addon for that CPT?
Did you set the listing as unclaimed when you created the listing? Thanks
May 8, 2018 at 1:28 am in reply to: How to get started in new installation of GD as of March 7th, s018 #429452You can get the beta version here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/geodirectory-v2-first-beta-release/
Some notes from that page:This GeoDirectory core BETA is a very early release and is not recommended for a production site.
GeoDirectory addons are not supported yet, this is a core BETA only. Add-ons will be supported once core is out of beta.
WARNING: Directory Starter theme breaks the JS as its still using the old non mobile friendly select boxes. We will provide a BETA V2 for Directory Starter too ASAP.
Please do your testing with alternative themes.
If you do not intend your site to go live for a while, then you can start with V2, but as noted above, addons do not work with V2 yet.
An upgrade process from V1 to V2 will be available once V2 is completely stable.
Thanks
The Popular Post shortcode is on the same page: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-shortcodes/#poppost
Whether you add a widget or a shortcode, they will use the same CSS, so there is no advantage using shortcodes instead of widgets.
I suggest you review these pages, they explain how to layout your GD pages:

May 7, 2018 at 11:24 pm in reply to: Geodirectory stylesheet not loading when site is viewed in Incognito mode #429447I can see the problem at some pages, eg https://1800unlocks.com/locksmith/indiana/evansville/bob-the-locksmith/
Please post your WP admin details in a private reply and we will have a look for you.
Thanks
We cannot see that page without a login, so please post your WP admin details in a private reply, and we will have a look.
You may be able to fix it yourself based on https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/
Thanks
Please post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply and we will check your settings.
ThanksYou’re welcome 🙂
This reply has been marked as private.View all will show all listings in the same post type.
Is there a second page when you get to the “view all” page, where the other listings are?If you post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply, it will be easier to explain it.
Thanks
Best practice is not to use locations like Bonn and Koln etc as kategories.
To create a search with locations and kategories, have a look at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/
If you post your WP admin details, then we can show you a bit better.
Check https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#postnames
And make sure all listings are at least in one category.See also https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/troubleshooting-guide/
Let us know how you went.
Removing the suggestions will not solve the problem. I suggest to add the location switcher to the menu or as a sidebar widget.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/location-manager-shortcodes/#tab
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/multilocations/#mainOr the Popular Location widget: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/location-manager-widgets/#pop
Thanks
We are still testing the updated version of their API. For the moment it still does not work with HTTP or HTTPS.
You’re welcome 🙂
We only provide the software, not the content.
You can install some dummy listings, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#dummy
To have the location switcher, you will need the Location Manager addon: https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/location-manager/
“Add listing” is set up as explained here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#navigation
