    All GD addons are optional, but in your case you definitely need Location Manager, Custom Post Types, Events. You probably can de-activate the Pricing Manager if you only have free listings, but then you loose some control over options for the listings.

    Although there are a lot of different Addons, they each have very little if any impact on the speed, because they all just complete one optional part.

    Whoop is built for GD, so if you have any speed issues, they may be more server related than theme related.
    You could replace Buddypress with our UsersWP, that may be a small improvement.

    If you want to add drop down for the categories, you can add them as part of the WP menu at Appearance > Menu [I quickly added a few – delete if you like].

    Bulk edit does not work with GD, and has been removed because it breaks a lot of listings if we re-instate it.

    I doubt turning off the category count will make any impact, that would require some coding. Let us know if you want us to look a bit further into that.

    Thanks

    Your GD Permalinks settings conflict with the settings at Multilocations, I corrected it.

    Add city slug in listing urls:
    You can only use this option if your site only covers one region or city, do not use if your directory covers more than one region and/or country.

    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-permalinks/#location

    You also still had the GD Stripe addon active, I de-activated that.
    Please add your Invoicing Stipe Addon license now and complete the settings.
    Let us know how you went.

    Thanks

    Have a look at Appearance > Menus and then use the Screen Options to add more menu options, see image.

    Also, have a look at GD > Design > Navigation
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#navigation

    Why do you want to use a menu plugin? What extra functionality are you looking for?

    Thanks

    I cannot replicate that unless I forget to add a required field. That is the only time it ever happens, when you forget a field, and then you need to reload the page. Even that should not be the case, the page should not get stuck, it should allow you to act on the error messages instead of trying to submit the listing. I’ll get a developer to have a closer look for you.

    You turned of the right section at GD > Design > Listings tab.
    I turned it back on, that is the part that contains the map.

    Please check. Thanks.

    Or you can use the Claim Listings addon, and set
    GD > Listing Claims > Show link to author page on listings? > Yes

    Thanks

    1. You will need to add some CSS code for your theme. While your site is in maintenance we cannot check any code, but something like this may work”

    #geodir-wrapper {
        max-width: 1000px;
        margin: auto;
    }

    2. You would use the Popular Post widget or shortcode and sort by latest:

    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-shortcodes/#poppost

    Thanks

    You can only set a character limit, not a tag limit.

    I am guessing you still have to add a Gmap Listings widget to the GD Listings Top section at Appearance > Widgets.

    Let us know how you went. Thanks

    Your Add Listing page is here:
    xxx/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_place
    xxx/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_event etc

    Add the GD Loginbox widget to your pages to get the links to the Add Listing form.
    See also https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#navigation
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/widgets/#loginbox

    Thanks

    You should use the GD Category widgets:
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/widgets/#cpt-cats
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/widgets/#popular-post-cat

    If you only have free listings, you do not need the Invoicing plugin, and you can turn off anything else you don’t use.

    The “Scheduled” has nothing to do with GD, that is normally not there.

    Thanks
