Hi Joel, as David says, GD’s pages are template driven and are not WP pages. Theme builders only work for WP pages. To change columns on GD pages, have a look at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layout/#directory
You will have to go to GD > Design, and edit the layouts there.I cannot access WP-admin, because the username or password was incorrect and now my IP is blocked. Please turn off WP Defender temporarily if you want us to have a look at your settings. I no longer can even see the site at all.
2. Is there any way to remove Address as a required field for “Internet Only” businesses?
GD > General > General tab > Select CPT to disable physical location
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-general/#physical4. Is there a way to use map thumbs by each listing return? I would rather use the sidebar than map on the listing return page.
I am not sure which page you are talking about.
On the Detail page, you can add a GD Listings widget to the sidebar.
On the Listings page, Supreme splits the page in two, one side with the map and the other side with the listings. Other themes do not use that layout, for example have a look at https://wpgeo.directory/starter/places/restaurants/ for the Listings page on Directory Starter.
Adding thumbnails of the map for each listing on the Listings page would require customization.
Let us know if I misunderstood your question.5. I have about 10k listings to import. I don’t think there will be an issue with this number of records, correct?
Normally not, but that is totally depending on your server and hosting. Thanks
Yes, that addon also allows for paid plans.
I’ll set this to resolved for now. Open a new topic if you have any more questions.
ThanksThat would depend on the theme you are using, so please post your URL and we can have a look.
I am guessing you would just replace the current image with another one.1. Create a new user,
2. set as author,
3. assign that user to the listing.
DoneAll I can suggest is to have another search and replace with this plugin:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/better-search-replace/That usually works OK if you do it correctly.
Good to hear it is all fixed 🙂
If you add these shortcodes to a WP page, you will get all the permalinks you need:
[gd_advanced_search] [gd_login_box] [gd_cpt_categories] [gd_location_switcher]You’re welcome 🙂
Please turn on the maps at GD > Design > Map tab > SHOW / HIDE POST TYPE AND CATEGORY ON MAP
You are hiding the maps for all CPTs and categories.
See the note there:Tick respective post type or categories which you want to hide from home page map widget.
You have ticked all of them so you are hiding all of them.
GD > Design > Scripts > CSS.
See also https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/Try this CSS:
.sd.single.geodir-page .featured-area, .sd.sd-preview .featured-area { display: none; }Do you mean the “Featured” banner? Please post a URL so we can see what you mean, and explain a bit more in detail. Thanks.
I just re-saved 2 of the multiselect custom fields and that seemed to have fixed them.
Please try to re-save the others and let us know how you went. You do not have to renew, and the plugin will continue to work after the year, but you will no longer have access to support and updates for the plugin. In such case you should avoid updating anything else, which is the only thing that could create new conflicts.
We do have a 25% end of year discount for the moment: https://wpgeodirectory.com/end-year-sale/
The price for individual addons is an annual price.
