Not out of the box, but there may be some way of doing that. Let’s check with the developers if they can think of a trick.
ThanksGood to hear it is all working now.
Merry Christmas and a happy new year too, from all of us 🙂Happy holidays to you too 🙂 From all of us.
The simplest way to achieve that is with CSS, using the “logged-in” class.
To get messages to pop up, you may need to use a membership plugin. Thanks
It will be on the same day every month as the listing was first submitted.
If you tick
GD > Prices and Payments > General tab > Display expire date to author in listing detail sidebar?
then the next date will be shown to the user on the detail page. Thanks
Go to GD > Place Settings > Custom fields > Field:Address > Front end description.
See image 1.
Then the add listing page will show that text, see image 2.The street address can contain any text, it does not really need to be a street address.
Thanks
You’re welcome 🙂
Have you tried to enable the map cache at GD > Design > map. Look towards the bottom of the page. I’ll get Stiofan to look at your question too. Thanks
Have a look at GD > Multilocations > Show location switcher in menu

December 17, 2017 at 10:41 pm in reply to: trouble translating a sentence for payment manager add on #409836Look at step 1 of https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/updating-your-language-files/
The new PO file will be in the plugin folder of the plugin you updated.
For example when you update the Pricing Manager, you can find the new PO file in /wp-content/plugins/geodir_payment_manager/geodir-payment-languagesI hope that is clearer now. Let us know.
This reply has been marked as private.Changes to layout and design do not need too much customization.
The Search page is primarily designed with widget areas, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layout/#directorySo you would want to use the top area and the left column at GD > Design > Search tab.
Then you add any widgets you like.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/widgets/
Then you can change how some of the widgets look, and move things within a widget with some CSS:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/But like I already said, some of the options you ask for do not exist, like you cannot sort the Search page, only the Listings page. You would have to create new code etc, it is not just a matter of layout or looks.
Any new code would then need to be added using actions or filters: https://codex.wordpress.org/Plugin_APIYou can use shortcodes instead of widgets, but they will not change how WordPress or GD works; that will require your own coding.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-shortcodes/There is not just one file that includes the detailed code of how the GD search page will look, but each widget etc has its own code etc.
Thanks
This reply has been marked as private.Have a look at GD > Design > Navigation, and remove some of the options.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#navigationThanks
Have a look at the codex: https://wpgeodirectory.com/codex/codex/geodirectory_templates/geodir-search-php/
If you need help with customizations, you can look for a developer here:
