There are no shortcodes available that allow you to select any location.
All your locations are in the same state, so when you say region, I am guessing you do not mean “state” but some other type of region.
You could use categories or tags for your “regions” and filter the shortcode like that.
See https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-shortcodes/#listingsThe first question cannot be looked at until you fix your file owners. Contact your host to fix that problem and also the problem with the .htaccess file as reported at http://www.mehendi.gallery/wp-admin/options-permalink.php
You can add any extra fields you want at GD > Business Settings. Please review
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/You do not seem to have a /wp-content/languages/plugins/ folder, so how are you translating?
Please review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translate-core/
and https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-addons/ first and make sure you have your language files at the correct place. And then please provide FTP credentials and we’ll check.
To hide the street address from being displayed, have a look at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/common-styling-examples/#address
The option you are referring to in your first post is from this page:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/how-to-use-gd-without-street-addresses/
and is the option that does require a street addressOption 1: Require street input (recommended)
Please try now, I removed the parent page from the location page as per https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layout/
In the Pages section of your WP admin dashboard, you can change the title and the slug of the page. Nothing else can be changed there. Also, do not move the pages under a parent!
Let us know.
I now updated GD core manually.
.htaccess only needs 644, see https://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions#.htaccess_permissions
The files and folders on your site are owned by different users, which may be the problem, see the image below. That stops updates etc, and may be the source of your issues.
You should make sure they are all owned by the same user. The next thing to try would be to de-activate your other plugins to find which one is breaking the GD search.
Let us know how you go with that.
I’ll get a developer to have a closer look.
1. Please update the GD core plugin to the latest version.
2. I also turned off GD Booster, because you are already running another caching plugin, you should only use one.
3. Your permalinks are set incorrectly, but they cannot be changed because your htaccess file is not writable: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#postnames
4. Your GD permalinks were not set correctly, you cannot choose /region/city/ only if you allow listings in more than one country. Please fix 1 and 2 and we will have another look for you.
Thanks
Sorry, but that is not possible, you can only create pages for each location.
For example
http://chimneysaversvt.com/location/south-barre/
http://chimneysaversvt.com/location/plainfield/Thanks
Make sure to change all references to http://1800unlocks.com to https://1800unlocks.com using this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/better-search-replace/
Thanks
To get your downloads, use your same username and password at
https://wpgeodirectory.com/your-account/
and
https://wpinvoicing.com/your-account/Thanks
The search does not search custom fields, see
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/searching-and-browsing/#search
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/#searchGD will check the entry titles, description and taxonomies (tags and categories) of the listings.
The search will not check custom fields or locations. If you ever had an option to “clear the cache” then you must have had some caching plugin active, rather than GD Booster.
This may be handy as to how to organize your directory: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/places-categories-and-listings/
Thanks
December 20, 2017 at 10:08 am in reply to: "Near Me" button always takes me to wrong listing #410094The near me button should take you to https://ripscleats.com/location/me/ or another location page.
There seems to be some conflict somewhere. Can you post your WP admin details in a private reply and we will check your settings. Thanks
December 20, 2017 at 10:03 am in reply to: Duplicate City name, different Region (State) bug #410093The only way to fix the first issue, is to keep an eye on locations being added while the location list is building.
The second issue I think is because you have not selected to include location specific URLS at GD > Permalinks > Add location in urls
If we need to check things out in more detail, post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply and we will have a look.
Thanks
Please post your WP admin details in a private reply, so we can check it out. We do not keep login details. You seem to have a conflict with another search function. Thanks
