Oops, that is because the documentation has not been adjusted when those options moved to the Advanced Search addon quite a while ago.

Redirect to default location (on first time load users will be redirected to default location: This setting will redirect your visitors on first entry to the location page of your default location.
Using the example just above, if New York City is your default location, any visitors landing on your site will be redirected to yoursite.com/location/united-states/new-york/new-york-city.

You could add a CPT that does not require addresses, for example “Out of Town” CPT?
Or set the homepage to show the default location only using the Advanced Search addon?

First run GD > GD Tools > GD pages check > RUN
If the location page is missing, click “fix”

Then go to GD > Permalinks > Location page > Make sure the new location page is there.

That is Divi styling, not GD.

Only registered users can add listings.
If users are already logged in, the Add Listing link will go straight to the Add Listing form.
