That’s because you have chosen to only show 4 posts/listings per page, and the maps will only show listings on the page. Thanks.

A child theme cannot work without the parent, as soon the parent is uploaded, it is good to go. Please check now. Thanks

    1. See https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translate-core/

    2. Please post the URL of that page so we can inspect the code. Thanks.

Translating in the language file only translates the plugin language string, and nothing else.
    Thanks

There are no specific Polo theme compatibility settings.
What are the issues you are having?
Post your URL and WP admin details here in a private reply and we will have look, if you point out where you have any problems.

    Thanks

You do have the latest version of Social Importer, activate it to see the V3 settings.
The only issue you seem to have, is that for some reason you cannot add licenses.
I’ll get Stiofan to have a look at that.

    Have a look at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/
You normally identify where the class [for example] is, and then you can adjust the CSS.

    Thanks

The map markers will only open an infowindow [map bubble] and take you to the detail page for the listing shown on the map. They cannot be linked direct to a URL but you can add a URL in the map bubble.
    Have a look at
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#url
    and
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#show

    Thanks

The installation language can be different from the main website language.
WPML > Languages > Site languages > select default language.
You are misunderstanding I think. You can change the default language at any time, and back. The only thing that will happen is that the admin language changes, and the site URL without /xx/ will display the pages in the default language. So yoursite.com will display a page in a different language.

GeoDirectory is only fully compatible with WPML, not Qtranslate, and not Loco Translate:
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/known-issues/#loco
    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/known-issues/#polylang

WPML has a “String translation” addon: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-custom-post-types/

Second question: If I would start from zero installation with my site, to make it Romanian by default, would I lose my places (over 100 pieces)? In this case, how should I use WMPL considering that wp, contents, places, slugs, categories, pages etc are in Romanian and theme and plugins from you are in English?

There is no need to start from zero, just install WPML and pick a default language. Everything will fall in place automatically. You may have to add and extra PO and MO file here and there, but that is what you do gradually as you review the frontend.

Third question: If the function “Change Location” can show you the version of the language that you are choosing and I would say Romanian, because I’m in Romania but I’m also an American (and I would see that places from Romania, in Romanian version of the site)…how could I see the English version of that place/site? Doesn’t Change Location runs in conflict with WPML?

All WPML does is create different language sites that visitors can switch between with a language switcher. If you want to see the Romanian site, select Romanian from the switcher. Only countries are translated, not regions, cities or neighborhoods. The Romanian sub-site will have a Romanian location swithcher that takes you to the Romanian language pages with Romanian listings.

Fourth question and last: If I can manually translate your theme and plugins with PO Edit for example, and set WP in Romanian, will automatically switches the themes and plugins to WP default language? And then just use WPML to make translatable contents, places, categories, pages, etc?

    Yes.

Install WPML, add any new language you like, and select your default language for the front end. Everything else will slowly fall in place: review some of the help here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/category/translation/

    Thanks
