You can’t adding the excerpt manually you esplicitly tell wordpress to use your custom excerpt. That’s what that field is there for.

It means that after using that tool (why did you use it?) it will run the update/upgrade script again. This is useful when for example the update script wasn’t run succesfully while updating the plugins.

Can you please try to also disable all non-GD plugins momentarely and test again?

To make it easier, since today the licence keys are in the download page with the download links.
Adding each licence key in the system will change hem from inactive to active.
If you don’t do this, you wont me able to update when we’ll release next updates.
