    Hi,

    wp_terms like any category within wordpress and the icon which is the only other mandatory field is set in wp_options.

    option_name = tax_meta_gd_place_ID, the option_value is in an array.

    I’ll ask to Stiofan to confirm this, as I’ve personally never uploaded categories via sql.

    unfortunately this is currently not possible. It is definitely something we will want to implement, but we haven’t found the best way yet.

    At the moment the only way would be to create a listing for each location.

    You should really ask for support to your server admin, saying tht ajax calls are randomly failing and returning 404.

    It’s not save to use a server like that. Once fixed, you will finally be able to add all custom fields you want.

    Hi,

    I can’t see any obvious reasons why it is not working. It behave like if it was disabled no matter what.

    Hi,

    it says invalid username or password.

    Currently the only way to move GT listings to GD is to export listings from GT with a tool like this: http://quickcode.themetailors.com/tt/portfolio/geotheme-bulk-management-tools/

    arrange the data in the GD sample CV file and re-import.

    To login with Facebook you can use one of the many wordpress plugin that allows that. Social Connect being pre-integrated.

    I don’t think you will find a plugin that will automatically post users review on their wall though. Never heard of something like that, especially because this plugin would have to take review moderation into account. I’d say I’m 99% sure you will have to develop this if you need it.

    I’m finding Cloudways.com to be excellent.

    I use godaddy to buy domains, but their servers are overcrowded and slow, which is a good enough reason for me to stay away from them.

    the Near Me Button is a widget and will require a widget area to add it near the top menu.

    You could also add it programattically with the_widget() WordPress API function https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/the_widget, using the filter wp_nav_menu_items

    https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/hooks/wp_nav_menu_items/

    You will find plenty of examples via google on how to use that filter.

    Fort the search problem we would need a URL and wp admin credentials please.

    this isn’t something you can do with options so you must write new code.

    Whenever new code is needed to accomplish a request, that makes it a customization request, which is not part of the support we provide here.

    We can provide directions, we can’t take you there…

    Details you are providing now makes it a bit harder and longer to accomplish so if you want I can move this in the Jobs section of the forum, where developers can provide a quote to complete the customization for you.

    I’m tryly sorry to disappoint you, but there is no possible way to make GD works with that Event plugin.
    

    Stiofan and I try to solve it this morning, but we use different autocomplete scripts and solving all possible confilicts goes beyond our interest to make GD work with another events system.
    

    Just FYI, today we’ll release the New Events in Beta. I’d suggest to give it a try, because it fully integrates in GD (maps and search) and it is finally as good (if not better) than any other popular events manager out there.

     is added at the end of it.

    I’m on the businesses page and go to select ‘Add Listing’ for only the ‘Add listing’ to be for Businesses and not to show the other CPTs in a drop down box? The same goes for the other CPTs.
