Currently there is no system to allow you to do that.
It would have to be built from scratches.
This is somthing we will work on in the future, the best way to prioritize it would be to add it in the feature request system and hope many other users will vote for it.
Otherwise it would be a customization and you’d have to work on it on your own.
Thx
December 9, 2014 at 4:55 pm in reply to: Uploaded listings being set as Paid , not Free listings #23935Can you provide a link pls and tell us which price has a description limit on your website?
I’m testing in our demo and if you set a description limit, the description text area is enabled to accept the number of characters allowed by the description limit. Not 1 letter more…
Let us know,
Thx
Hi,
go to GD >> Prices and Payments >> Prices and edit them by enabling/disabling features as you wish.
If you use the prices and payments addons, payments will be managed by it. You can’t use just to limit features, than let woocommerce handle the payments.
Thx
Hi,
yes in theory using 2 CPTs you could do it because both listings page and details page have a unique body class that can be used for CSS.
Exmaples:
details page : .single-gd_place
listings page : .post-type-archive-gd_placeSo if you use gd_place as free listings to hide the Photos and Map tabs, you could add something like this:
.single-gd_place .geodir-tab-head > dd:nth-child(6),.single-gd_place .geodir-tab-head > dd:nth-child(8) { display: none; }This will work only if you haven’t added custom tabs, in case you have, the nt-child(#) will have to be adjusted accordingly.
Let us know how you went.
Thx
Probably because Chrome is taking a little longer to resolve the redirect… I’m just guessing.
It sould not be visible at all, the redirect should be seamless and it’s actually the 1st time I see it.
Hi,
currently not, we will soon develop the jSon APi to use with the PhoneGap framework. Hopefully we will be able to get them out beginning of next year. (End January/February).
At the moment you can start by checking the actions called by the add/edit listing forms and dig down from there.
geodirectory-templates/add-listing.php
Thx
HI,
they are not regular wordpress custom post types. If you add a regular wordpress custom post type using a plugin or custom functions, it will not behave like a GD custom post type.
It will not be added to the map, it will not get it’s own add listng form with custom fields and so on.
I know many members are using s2members, but I never tested it so I can’t really endorse it.
Thx
Hi,
like i asked in the wp support forum, would you please provide wp admin credentials and explain how the theme is preventing the maps from working correctly?
Thx
December 8, 2014 at 9:17 pm in reply to: Uploaded listings being set as Paid , not Free listings #23875yes, next version will include a new admin page called GD tools and a tool to fix faulty tags due to the bugs found today will be included.
Thx

Thanks for your patience,
HI,
I’ve tested again, but all I see for a glimpse is the actual add listing form.
In our server this doesn’t happen because the redirect is seamless. I honestly never saw this happening anywhere.
I see you are on a development server, will the live server be any faster?
Let us know,
Thx
Hi,
wp admin credentials seems to be wrong, can you double check?
Thanks
Hi,
no it isn’t something we can help you with.
It’s a complex addition and you can request it here.

Thx
You have two options, disable Yoast SEO from managing Canonical urls and let GeoDirectory do it (Yoast SEO have no clue about locations being custom GD elements) or ask to he plugin author to add full compatibility with GeoDirectory.
Thx
