I’m sorry that you don’t like the new Invoicing plugin, however the old plugin wasn’t that different.

The new version mainly handles VAT, it’s a legal obligation if you are selling to EU citizens, so we ought to do it.

While at it we greatly improved it under the hood.

The main reason why we made it an independent plugin is that with this new Invoicing plugin, we can handle payments for other plugins too.

For example, one of the most requested thing for GeoDirectory is an Ads manager that would allow to sell adds in website’s sidebars and other areas.

With Invoicing we can make it handle the payments and Invoices for GeoDirectory and for the New Ads manager (and for any other plugin needing payments), without having to add payment options to every plugin.

Invoicing does it for all.

That’s more efficient for members, because your websites needs less code to operate, but also for us, because we maintain only one code base, instead of many.

Hope you’ll change your mind about it.
