that is a server setting and you can be override it from your php.ini
Please ask to your server admin to increase the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini to whatever you prefer.

p.s. GD Booster shouldn’t prevent the add listing form from working, that’s probably caused by a conflict with another plugin, the developers will look into that too in case you prefer to use GDB

There are over 10k websites using GD without reporting similar errors.
The problem is unique to your website and is due to conflicts with other plugins or with the theme.
Did you clear all caches after disabling all non GD plugins.

3000 is really too much, 1400px or max 1920 will do. After changing the size setting, you need to delete the image and re-upload it or it will keep on using the image uploaded previously.

the developers have been alerted and they’ll let you know asap. For the moment I’d disable wp easy updates that won’t be necessary till we release the next set of updates. You can reactivate it after having updated WP and whatever else you need to do.
