you will need to modify the code inside header.php of the child theme to unlink the logo.

This is considered a customization though, the logo linking to home page is website standard and every WP theme behaves like that.

you can’t make region non mandatory, we need to make sure we are getting the right data from Google Maps API for Singapore. Sometimes the API sends data in different format for different regions.

I asked to the developers to follow up and make sure that GD can work well for Singapore.

We never had complaints about it, you are probably the 1st using GD for Singapore.
