Hi,
Whoop is a theme and while it adds few features, it doesn’t change the way GeoDIrectory works.
Whoop and the Location manager are 2 different products, Whoop doesn’t come bundled with it.
Yes everything is responsive.
Thanks
You are welcome 🙂
Hi,
Whoop is a parent theme.
You will need:
GeoDirectory_whoop and whoop_child.
You will activate whoop_child.
If you still have problems, please provide a link and admin credentials in a private reply and we will follow up.
Thanks
Hi,
Cloudways is an excellent solution that we trust, because we use it too for our demos and it is priced decently for what it offers.
It is possible that there are even better solutions, simply we haven’t tried them all.
In any case we can guarantee that Cloudways will work well.
Thanks
Hi,
this is how it works.
1 listing only, the zoom level set by admin in the widget is used. Otherwise the autozoom would zoom to street level (users would see only grey around the marker in most cases).
2 or more listings, the autozoom kicks in.
Thanks
Hi,
not at present, but if you submit a feature request : here and many members vote for it we will definitely consider it.
Thanks
Hi,
Dummy data should work regardless your membership status. It is part of the free plugin.
That could be due to a conflict with another plugin or a theme’s script.
If you provide a link and admin credentials in a private reply (only staff can read them), we will have a look for you.
Let us know,
Thanks

Hi,
no, you should never modify a plugin file.

Hi,
I asked to the developers to check.
Thanks
Are all widgets still in place?
Hi,
adding email or another custom field is the same.
Instead of:
global $post; echo $post->geodir_contact;you will use
geodir_ followed by the custom field name instead of contact.
Thanks
Hi Danielle,
adding the login link that way is wrong, it will remain visible when users are logged in and that’s not good UX. Adding a logout link in the menu (that appears instead of the login link when users are logged in), is not that easy of a task, it requires hooking into the wp nav menu items (all this has nothing to do with our products).
The login/register page is structured that way, anything different will require a customization.
This kind of customizations are really beyond support.
Thanks
HI,
this is possible via CSS, but as you said this is a bit of a long shot. Custom CSS is not part of support, this would require more than few minutes to provide, so if you wish,I can move this in the Jobs section of the forum.
Let us know,
Thanks
