Oh, that’s great! Be sure to write to RankMath about that, too!
GD Shortcodes only work for GD Custom Post types. For posts with your theme, the theme may have some widgets, but you would need to refer to your theme and the documentation to find out more. As Guust said there are also other plugins you can use for that sort of feature.
Maybe Google is translating it? The WP setting should do it. Also try clearing your cache.

December 11, 2019 at 1:57 am in reply to: why is the address also picking up the central location #520893I see what you mean, but I would need to check the settings to know why.
Please share WP Admin credentials in a private reply so we can find a solution for that and the map not showing the location.
December 11, 2019 at 1:49 am in reply to: I turned GeoDirectory on and all EventOn pages show 404 #520891Hello,
1. Philadelphia – Did you set the map language? The plugin ships with Philadelpia set as a default location, you can change that in the settings (GD – Settings – Locations tab – cities – set default in column)
2. Text Overrun, Spacing – this can be fixed with some CSS, we will check into it – https://forumliquidcpy.wpengine.com/companies/
3. Featured – there is a field for that, it is a special field that works with the Pricing Manager and price packages
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/featured-listings/4. Show listings – Use GD Listings – use the shortcode builder and choose GD Listings to show/query different combinations
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/shortcode-builder/
5. Claim, Pay – Install the claim and pricing manager addon
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/claim/
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/pricing-manager/6. Map – Add a GD Map widget to the GD Archive template
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/templates/archive/
7. Refund – Request it here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/refund-policy/
It looks like OSM coverage is pretty sparse in that area:
https://www.openstreetmap.org/search?query=85%20highroad%20south%20carbonear#map=16/47.7458/-53.2227
Try your full address there, you can see the data they have. If they don’t have the coverage you want then you may want to try Google.
If you already have all your location data, you could try importing it directly.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/import-export/
About saving, do you mean the form reloads empty? Are you running a cache plugin on admin side? Is the server performing with enough resources? Are the plugins network activated?
I checked the sheet against the export
post_date is empty, but is required and must be filled – copy a date from the export
post_category column header is misspelled
tags and post_category are out of order, transposed
ID is populated – ID should be blank for creating new listings, WP will assign an IDOnce you fix those it should import
Excellent!
Hello,
Per: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/import-export/#not-a-valid-csv-file
WordPress does not allow the upload of CSV files (by default). You may see one of several different errors when trying to upload a CSV file, all of which are telling you that you cannot upload a CSV file.
To get around this, install this plugin which makes your site allow the upload of CSV files:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/disable-real-mime-check/Once you have uploaded your files, then you can deactivate and delete the plugin.
See the link for more info
You are having trouble with the import? Or the form validation?
December 11, 2019 at 12:20 am in reply to: Create Directory of "People Listing" in ~20K Companies #520882Edit the page and under the section “Page Attributes” select “Full Width”
In an upcoming version we will have a new “Click to reveal” setting for the GD Post Badge” but there isn’t an anti-bot system, no.
I would recommend you switch away from the GeoDirectory Single. Then you can use shortcodes with HTML and CSS to create the detail info area the way you want.
December 11, 2019 at 12:03 am in reply to: Upon adding listings – not consistently forcing payment options #520878Hello,
we also have a fix coming in WP Invoicing for this, for the empty cart issue, for cache.
After submitting the listing, if it is not a free listing, then yes, the user should be directed to the cart.
I will ask the developers to comment about that fix.
Hello,
make sure the listing you are checking has an email in the ’email’ field. No email, the form button won’t show.
For adjusting the email, look into the advanced options in the form. Ninja Forms docs cover all the options available there.
If you are still having trouble send a link to a listing where you are testing along with WP Admin credentials in a private reply if we need to check the settings.
