Yes, that is how it works right now. I have made a note to look into removing the references automatically, but for now you would need to resave the listings or edit them in bulk through export-import.
The URL of the details page has no bearing on the URL pattern for other pages so they would be the same. However, if you have set Location manager options to remove permalink parts, in which case those parts would be removed.
July 19, 2019 at 12:09 pm in reply to: How to remove City, Region, Country, Zip Code from Adress in Archive Page. #498562There are four different ways to show the address
One of the way is to use the GeoDirectory single template, but, for the template, the address display is built in and currently, changing the address format in the sd-detail section just under the photo, is a customization.
You can choose any of the other methods, using GD Output Location, GD Post Meta, and GD Post Address anywhere else on the Details and archive item templates.
If you want to skip showing city, then you will need to use GD Post Address.
The developers are aware of the ‘city cannot be unticked’ issue and there is a task to work on that, as well as to consider changing how the address in the GeoDirectory Single template is rendered. An update will be posted here about the resolution of the ‘city cannot be unticked’ issue.

Read more about it here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/featured-listings/Hello,
thanks for writing in about that, and it’s a good idea. We don’t do that now, but I will flag your request for the developers to comment.
Thanks for asking about that. I have flagged your topic for the developers.
July 19, 2019 at 7:06 am in reply to: CPT default image for Bands (Primary image dimensions) #498526Hi Steve,
Is this a custom field field? The field is very general, so, best bet is to edit the field description to give your listing owner a clue about what you are expecting.
If you want, you can create some custom CSS to force that output to look a certain way, with the effect that the upload of an image that doesn’t meet your recommendations look awful. I think that is part of the facebook strategy with banner images 🙂
We have had a couple requests for image minimums so I will update that request and we will consider it for future versions.
For more about this issue, can you share links to “bad” and “good” listings so we can see what you mean?
Also check out the doc about images: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/images/
Thanks for reporting, we will look into it and get right back to you.
Make sure you have spelled the post type correctly and set the listings for a typical post_status.
Did the import report success?
If we need to check the settings, please include the CSV file in private reply along with WP Admin credentials and your site URL.
Well, for example, you would add a GD Post Title widget.
Then when you visit a place listing page, that widget would display the post title. You can always just copy and paste the default content into a shortcode element.
