If the field is excluded, then the listing will not be featured.
To make sure the listing is not featured, then do not include the field in the price package.
Visit the featured field settings and, if the free package is listed in the packages, remove it. THat will exclude the field. This reply has been marked as private. No
June 5, 2019 at 11:38 am in reply to: gd listings shortcode not working after upgrade GeoDirectory V2 #490971You have incorrect quote marks, it looks like.
Try replacing them all with single quote like ‘Hello,
GDV2 has moved all field search settings into the search tab
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/search/Instead of the compass, click in the Near search field and select Near Me
There will be another page at
/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_gd_videographer
create a link to that in your menu “Add Videography listing”
For the Details page image, you can recreate that GD Post Images shortcode with the advanced option to show titles and captions disabled. That will turn off the narration text.
For the size of the image, GD Post Images always expands to fill the parent. See https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/image-size-and-window-spacing-issue/#post-490862
We are considering how to work with this and to provide additional options but for now you can add custom CSS to control the size of the container. max-width or height would be a place to start.
You could also try the carousel options for GD Post Images. Because it puts images next to each other, they are not as tall.

If categories have been edited or new listings added then they are not deleted so as to avoid creating listings with no category.
Image sizes are controlled by your wordpress install
Any image proportion will work as long as the images are consistant. Demo images are 3:2. You can use advanced options in GD Post Images to select “cover” to zoom the images to fill the area.We can take a look; share WP Admin credentials in a private reply.
Please add the snippet as a Code Snippet so we can check it there.Have you disabled the setting for address autocomplete?
GD – Settings – Locations – Advanced – Disable address autocomplete?I can’t login with those credentials, let us know about the settings and update credentials if we should check.
Try disabling all the addons, first.
Then deactivate and delete GD.
Then try reinstalling GD from the WordPress repo.
Then if it installs and activates correctly, enable the addons.I see, and I clicked around to find the other form and I see when submitting a place there is an admin ajax error on submit, a 500 error.
Please share FTP credentials so we can debug the issue.
That is not possible with settings or options in GD, no.
Hello,
I will flag your question for the developers to provide an example of Near Search in our docs.
You can find the Overview here with a link to the API section
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/api/
Thanks for your patience while the developers work on that.
