When listings are deleted, the images are also deleted, I can tell you that much.
As far as keeping track, they are not kept in a separate folder, they are in the same folder as media library items, so I am not sure that it is possible to differentiate, but I will flag your question for the developers in case they have an idea about it.Yeh, thats an option that pops up once you select the events post type. Cool! 🙂
No obvious errors, we will need to check the settings.
Please share WP Admin in a private reply and we will take a look.
ThanksApril 28, 2019 at 7:24 pm in reply to: How do I remove the "no comments" text and icon for directory listing? #483324You’re welcome 🙂
April 28, 2019 at 7:23 pm in reply to: Split: Remove the word "Category" from the urls of the categories #483323There is a setting to turn on those redirects:
GD – Settings – General – Developer – Enable 404 rescueWe have some examples here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/images/#customize
It looks to me like you have hidden the GD Output Locations element in the archvie template, or that it is not there. Add it back in and set it for the listings output location.
April 28, 2019 at 7:19 pm in reply to: Hot to modify Supreme Directory theme Page Template Details Info area #483320It requires developer customization by opening the template file and making changes directly, or by using filters.
If you want more control without a developer you should use the “geodirectory” template instead of the GeoDirectory single and create that header area the way you want in the GD Details template.

There isn’t a default setting for that.
You can do it with some adjustments to the settings with a GD Post Badge Element. You will need to use the %%input%% variable to create it.Some examples are to be found here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/common-examples/#gd_post_badge
April 28, 2019 at 7:16 pm in reply to: GDv2 Upgrade Problem – Featured Listing Arrangement + Featured Banner Missing #483318The banner is now a GDV2 element called GD Post Badge.
Add that to your archive item or detail page template:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/featured-listings/Did you click Edit under the placeholder author image?
It worked for me, opening the frontend editor.April 28, 2019 at 7:12 pm in reply to: Event dates and type not displaid in archive and bubble #483315Very good!
You can run the setup wizard or add the same widgets manually:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/getting-started/#sidebar-widgetsIf a page is missing a sidebar, try adjusting the page template: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/themes/
For the details page you will need to create the Elementor template with the Elementor theme builder.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/builders/#theme-builders
I cannot tell why you are getting a white screen on search. I will flag your topic for the developers to take a look at that.
GDV2 does not include a post slider.
The design for GD Categories has changed, yes. You will need to write custom CSS to adjust it as you like. We have some examples for GD CSS here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/common-examples/
For the icons at the top, are those FA icons? There is a utility you can use to find a match between versions or adjust the loading: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/font-awesome/
