You need to select Favorites at GD > Design > Navigation > Show favorite link in user dashboard
Your sidebars were set to 30% width each and the content section to 67% width, there is only 100% width available.

Just selecting another CPT in the drop down does not do anything without actually searching.
That dropdown is only to search within a CPT, it does not link to the CPT.
For that you need to add the CPT categories widget for example.So your CPTs are not in the drop down? Can you post URL and WP admin so we can check your settings?

That listing had 3 categories but was in a package that only allows 2 categories.

You need to have at least one listing in each CPT, and each listing needs to be in at least one category too.
Try resaving your WP Permalinks, let us know how you went.
