BuddyPress Global Search is not compatible with GD: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/known-issues/#bp-global-search
1. Go to GD > Place Settings > Custom fields > Address field > Show on listings > Yes
2. That is not possible, but you can use the Popular Category widget.
3. Activate the Location switcher at GD > Multilocations
4. BuddyPress Global Search is not compatible with GD: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/known-issues/#bp-global-search
A listing can only be in one location. If you want a listing to be in different locations, you need to create multiple listings.
This might be useful: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/category/addons/franchise-manager/You need to allow submissions to different locations at GD > Multilocations.
I hope too much support is not a problem 🙂 🙂
Have a look at how the search works: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#how
The search searches NEAR the center of Chemainus [and I have no idea how big or small that is], so that is why it might not work.If you give post your URL we might be able to give more guidance. And WP admin too (in a private reply), if you want us to check some settings.

Things to check would be:
Are your permalinks set correctly.
Is multilocations set up correctly – sounds like it is not.
Are all categories already added to the system. If you cannot give access to support, we can only guess, sorry about that.
Documentation that might be helpful:

https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/June 21, 2016 at 10:33 pm in reply to: Add Listing URL for custom post type has stopped working #213499Sounds like you need to allow submissions to that CPT at GD > Design > Navigation.
If that is not the problem, post your WP admin details in a private reply and we will have a look.
If they use the same address, then they will be exactly on the same spot on the map.
If you want them to not be at exactly the same spot, you can shift the marker a bit so only the lat and lng changes but not the address.Another option is to add each listing to a different category, then visitors can choose different categories on the map, and that will toggle from the main listing to the others.
Still some misunderstanding I think.
If the main listing is in city A and franchise 1 is in city B: the main listing will show in city A and the franchise 1 will show in city B.
The franchise addon just ties different listings together the way you want them, but they still behave like normal listings like Paolo said. That page is not a GD page, these are your GD shopping pages:
http://www.galena.org/places/shopping-1/page/2/So your problem might be related to how you create those pages, instead of using the auto-generated pages from GD.
June 21, 2016 at 10:18 pm in reply to: Add Event and Add CPt's not working Supreme Directory #213490Thanks for letting us know.
Do you have the latest versions of Supreme and Directory Starter?
You will have to update Supreme using FTP.#1 is fixed.
2 and 3 is not how it works for the moment. The NEAR search looks in all locations, that is not filtered already by the chosen city or region.
I think Stiofan only fixed the obvious errors.
The events have not “disappeared”/”appeared”.
The English version of your site will only show events that are submitted in English, and the French part of your site will show events that are submitted in French.
That is why http://salseros-international.com/
is different than
http://salseros-international.com/fr/
So the change on your site is only because you do not have many bi-lingual listings, not because I have done anything at all.You will need to get familiar with FTP.
Here is an article to get you started: http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-use-ftp-to-upload-files-to-wordpress-for-beginners/
Filezilla is highly recommended as FTP software: https://filezilla-project.org/ -
