We had a closer look now, and that seems to be a bug. A task has been added to have a look at the sub-category issue on the map.
If you can post FTP details, then we can fix it on your site as soon the bug is fixed.
We’ll keep you posted. ThanksSo I am still not seeing things in my Directory and Events the way that I would like to. I have demo files on my Events page that have social media links but when I create a new listing I am not shown a place to add any social media links.
You have excluded the custom fields from the events price package, see image 1.
Events > Settings > Packages > Edit package. In addition, I have added the claim add-on feature but I don’t see it on my profile page in the directory, neither is the address displaying, recently viewed and more viewed.
You did not add the Claimed custom field to the Events settings.
You did not add the GD > Claim Post widget to the detail page sidebar.
I set it up for you for Events only.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/claim/Where do I go to set up the page that members are redirected to after claiming a listing? The instructions state that you have to have the manager installed.
Claiming a listing does not redirect, it stays on the same page as the listing claimed.
Thanks
Please post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply and we’ll have a look at your settings, and provide you with tailored advice.
ThanksYes, you will need to code your own customizations if you want to change how Salient’s pages render.
You can hire experts here: https://geodirectoryexperts.com/Case in point, my next issue is every single listing I post is automatically set to featured. This makes no sense as you’re supposed to have to purchase a featured ad. In your documentation it does not have any reference of how to achieve this. You can feature a package and it mentions that you can sell a feautured product but does not tell you how to do it.
Please review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/pricing-manager/ :
Featured and Price Packages
The pre-defined “Featured” field has a special integration with Pricing Manager. Read more about the Featured field. When you use the featured custom field and only want to it to be available for some packages and not others, you will have to set up your system so it has different packages, some with the featuring, and some not.
I checked your settings and it looks like you fixed that already.
If you want it to be automatically featured, you should change the “unchecked” setting to “checked.
If you do not want your users to be able to choose it not to be featured, then you can hide the option with CSS:#featured_row {display: none;}Support is only provided here, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/support-policy/
How we provide support
We provide Support Services in English, only through our Support Forums. Please refrain from posting in foreign languages as your posts will be deleted. We do not provide Support through any other channel (including, but not limited to direct e-mail, Social Networks, Skype or over the phone). If there are any other issues you want assistance with, be as specific as you can, and include URLs and screenshots and details of listings etc where we can see the issue so we know where to start looking for the solution.
I will alert the developers to the category problem again.
Thanks
You’re welcome 🙂
Using the latest GD core version with older addons will often not work correctly.
The current versions are 2.0.0.8 [claim] and 2.0.0.19 [location].
https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/location-manager/?changelog=1&beta=1
https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/claim-listings/?changelog=1&beta=1Support for Free Users (non members) is provided for website where only the core plugin is installed and used. If addons are installed and used (even only one addon), the user will have to subscribe again before being able to receive support.
We exclusively provide support for the latest version of both the Core plugin, add-ons and themes. Each product has it’s own dedicated Support forum. Thanks
I am not sure. Update them as explained here using your older version, they may work then: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/updating-your-language-files/
We do not support older versions.
Thanks

You are not using the latest versions, they should be 2.0.0.8 and 2.0.0.19.
Please renew your membership to update to the latest version, and if you want any more help.

ThanksAll works fine in my test site.
In searches, results are always order by relevance to the search query.
On category or location pages, and in GD Listings elements, you can order by package.Places > Settings > Custom fields > Package field > Show advanced > Include this field in sorting options > Yes. See image 1.
Then go to
Places > Settings > Sorting tab. See image 2.Here is a sample shortcode you can use after changing the above settings:
[gd_listings sort_by="package_id_asc"]Location Manager.
Core, Claim, Pricing, Location Manager.
