Thanks for letting us know.
December 26, 2018 at 1:42 am in reply to: Any Way to Let Users "Clear Location" from Search Yet? #459955It is not just a matter of changing the plugins, the database needs to be converted too.
The conversion instructions are here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/installation/#convertSee step 7, 8 and 9 in particular.
You are hiding the “Submit” section with this CSS:
.sd.single.geodir-page .featured-area, .sd.sd-preview .featured-area {display:none;}You do not have to use a GD page as a homepage, but you can just use a normal WP page if that works somehow. I’ll get Stiofan to have a look at your two last posts too.
Thanks
The username and password are no longer valid, so we cannot check.
You should not use more than one caching plugin, I de-activated Fastest Cache, and left GD Booster on.
See also https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/known-issues/#cachepluginsYou cannot use the Location page as the homepage of your site, I changed that at WP settings > Reading.
Please check now. Thanks
Yes, always clear cache if you made any changes at all in the backend. I cleared your GD Booster, that may be why it is fixed now.
Are you using UsersWP or Buddypress or any other user plugin?
It looks like an incorrect setup for the connection between your registration plugin and GD.Post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply if you want us to have a closer look.
Thanks
There is no setting for that …
Is that only happening when you are on a page specific to a country and region?
Do you have the same issue when starting from the homepage?Post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply if you want us to have a closer look.
Thanks
We recommend you to run v1 to v2 conversion on staging site instead of copying data via import/export data from live.
A V1 to V2 conversion changes the database. Only changing the plugins will not work.
Exporting from a V1 setup to a V2 will not work, the database is different.Your Google Map API is not authorised for autocomplete, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/add-google-api-key/ towards the bottom of the page.
Yes, you can but you can also use this plugin, it is a bit safer: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/useful-plugins/#snippets
Can we have WP admin details in a private reply please?
Yes I have unchecked the allow people to post comments.
Did you do that before or after you added the listings?
Do you still get comments on new listings? -
