That is just how it works, you cannot remove that.
Thanks for letting us know.
Sorry, but there is no option for that.
You may be able to find some plugins that allow users to subscribe to new listings in categories.
ThanksThen I am guessing you missed this bit: Make sure you have selected a menu to be used for your GeoDirectory links at GD > Design > Navigation
If we need to check your settings, provide WP admin details in a private reply.
Thanks
Sorry, but I still do not understand why they cannot enter their address for example as
Street Address: My Freelance business name [full address available on appointment]
City: Los Angeles
Region: California
Country: United Statesand then drag the marker to somewhere central in Los Angeles,or somewhere around where they usually see clients.
You’re welcome 🙂
November 10, 2018 at 12:36 am in reply to: Marker Cluster and Map Category Drop Down not working #453374There is some cookie issue, so I got exactly the same issue as Alex, but using an incognito window allowed me to go to the admin area.
I’ll need to hand this to one of the developers, who probably only can look at it after the weekend. Thanks
You’re welcome
I can access the Drive videos, but unless I know which one I should watch, I do not intend to watch all of them. Also keep them short.
If you send the URLs of the search results, we can see what you searched for. That is a lot simpler.
The simplest radius search is from the Location search field, see image.
You add the widgets at Appearance > Widgets
Have you added the GD Search widget to the GD Search Top section?
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layout/#directoryLet us know.
See https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/multilocations/#main
GD > Multilocations > Show location switcher in menu > YES
Thanks
1. Without allowing to limit your search by category, your visitors will always have more results.
2. If you want to allow to allow selecting one or more categories only (instead of all categories), then you cannot add the search to the search bar itself, but will need to add it to the custom search box. Currently your category search is added to the search bar, so you will never see it in the customised search box. I have now changed that for you.
3. When we click on, Sawmills and Logging or Sawmill alone – it returns no results.
Your custom search settings were set to “AND” is so the the only results returned must be in ALL categories selected. If “OR” is selected then the search will return listings that are in one or more of the categories.
See image.4. Can you explain what you mean with “We have also discovered your search radius doesn’t work very well, and several other issues.” so we can try to assist.
5. I also alerted other support to review your questions.
Thanks
You need to add widgets to the GD Home/Location sections as per https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layout/#directory
I added a few widgets to get you started.
Thanks
You can create a Custom Post Type that does not require addresses, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-general/#general
GD > General > Select CPT to disable physical location
Thanks
