You’re welcome 🙂
You should not need shortcodes on GD pages, that is all done with widgets.
You had entered 100% at GD > Design > Home tab > Width of home content section, instead of 100
See https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#home:Width of home content section:
Here you can dynamically set the width of the “Home content sections” widget area. You can enter the width as a percentage of the total width, you must enter a number only without the % sign, ie: 63Widgets for the location pages are placed in the GD Home sections: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/layout/#home
I moved the map to the GD Home Bottom section to match the demo.
Please check now. Thanks
Try this CSS, adjust as required:
#primary-nav ul { margin-right: 10%; }Thanks
Have a look at GD > Design > Listings tab > Description word limit
Thanks
You can change that with the language file: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translate-core/
Thanks
Not with GD by itself, GD wants to make registration as simple as possible.
We suggest to add our UsersWp plugin, which will give you a lot more registration options: https://userswp.io/Thanks
You can change that with the language file: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translate-core/
Thanks
Thanks for letting us know 🙂
1) Use icom sized markers, about 50×50 pixels.
2) Try adding this CSS:
footer.geodir-entry-meta {background: white!important}Thanks
Lots of the feature requests are being worked on to be included in a major refresh of GD. Sorting options are planned to be added to the search pages.
More info about the planned refresh is at https://wpgeodirectory.com/geodirectory-v2-first-beta-release/Thanks
The Ultimate Member plugin takes over GD’s author pages.
If you enable user links at GD > Design > Detail, then your users can edit their listings by clicking on the the Edit link in the sidebar. You may want to have a look at our UsersWP plugin, which is fully compatible with GD: https://userswp.io/
Thanks
Ultimate members are registered users. Registered users can add and edit their GD listings.
I don’t quite understand the problem, if you post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply we can have a look at your settings. If you use the switcher in your menu, you can use a setting for that.
To add the switcher to your menu: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/multilocations/#main
To set the switcher to pick up the region, use the “List drilled-down Regions, Cities or List all Countries, Regions, Cities” option.
That will also work with the switcher shortcode: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/location-manager-shortcodes/#tab
But not with the shortcode that lists all locations. Thanks
If you use URLs in your menu like http://valleyfaces.ca/#Downloads instead of #Downloads then they will work on any page.
Thanks
You can use sorting on the Listings pages, not the Search pages.
Here are a few links that should help:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#sorting
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/Thanks
