Hi Ya,
at the moment I’m afraid this is not possible, but I’ll ask to the devs to look into it.
For the N/A I think it should be when the user doesn’t select any star…
Thanks
May 29, 2015 at 7:14 pm in reply to: How do I display the directory besides making it the homepage? #41042Hi again,
The map width is controlled via widget settings. Go to Appearance >> Widgets, and adjust width of all sidebars widgets.
The second one I can’t see unless I’m logged in. I see the username password input fields which look correct.
If you provide wp admin crdentials in a private reply I’ll check for you.
Let us know,
Thanks
Hi,
the compass is currently positioned with Javascript. The script is doing it’s job correctly at first, however it calculates the position before the events calendar loads. Once the events calendar is loaded, the compass loses the right position.
I know Stiofan wants to improve this to find a permanent fix for problems like this.
Right now I see 2 possible solutions:
1) the easier one, move the calendar below the search widget.
2) or add this custom css in GD >> design >> scripts:
.geodir_event_cal_widget { min-height: 320px; }This should make the calendar appear in its full height before loading, allowing the script to calculate correctly the position for the icon.
Let us know if this is of any help.
Thanks
At the moment we are looking at minor CSS problems. I don’t think addons will bring in anything that in case not perfect, we can’t fix.
Thank you!
Hi,
Wordpress does not allow to have 2 identical slugs in the database.
We’d need to have a look at your backend to tell you more about the default icon showing instead of the correct icon.
Let us know,
Thank you
Hi,
to give you guidance on how to make GD looks good on that theme we would have to see it in action with the plugin installed.
We can’t fix thing without seeing them.
Please provide a URL and wp admin credentials in a private reply and we will have a look.
Thanks
That is not correct, locationless CPT have no address field and no map. It doesn’t make it not mandatory…
Listings of locationless CPT are not showing in any of the maps widgets too.
The only way to list things outside of your default region and make them appear on any of the maps, is to extend your default region.
Thanks
Hi,
the theme looks very nice, but it is also very plugin unfriendly.
It adds a lot of questionable css that is creating all these little problems.
This is responsbile of both things, Map zoom not working and Images not appearing:
p:empty,div:empty,h1:empty,h2:empty,h3:empty,h4:empty,h5:empty,h6:empty {display:none;}the div:empty is the culprit. I’ve fixed both problems adding more custom css.
Thanks
Hi,
Stiofan is looking into it. We will probably need to release an update. It appears that Facebook changed something in their API.
Thanks
I don’t think it is possible, you could try do some testing and let us know.
Thanks
WHat do you mean, modify the template? That is feasible too… but not as easy…
Thanks
This is natively not possible, it would require a customization.
Thanks
Please provide URL and credentials.
Thanks
Hi,
I think it’s fixed now. I’ve converted all virtual pages as Stiofan said via GD Tools, than assigned 1 page for each option in Permalinks (you had the same page used for 2 options and that is not possible).
I also added the GD links via GeoDirectory >> Navigation options.
You will need to clean up your menu a bit.
Let us know if you need further assistance,
Thanks
May 29, 2015 at 3:07 pm in reply to: How do I display the directory besides making it the homepage? #41015Hi,
this is the css to fix the Tabs:
.geodir-tab-head dt { clear: none; margin-bottom: 0; width: auto; }Your theme adds generic css that is altering them.
You should also go to GeoDirectory >> Theme Compatibility, select custom and add the class container to your gd-wrappers and save, to make all GD templates consistent with your theme templates. (See image attached)
Let us know how you went and if we can assist any further.
Thanks
