I think this is possible only if you are visiting the archive page of that specific main category. Through parameters on any given page, it is not possible as far as I know.

For the problem with purchasing, first of all, sorry about that.

I’m not sure what the problem is because we did get purchases made through Stripe today.

SMTP problems on your mailserver. (very common) You could install the email log plugin to check if the emails are being logged. If they are, GeoDirectory and WordPress are generating them, but the server is not sending them. There are SMTP plugins that will help you fix this.
