It is also possible that you could try to address this with adding category into the URL.
It is a major customization to alter the URL and again to create archive pages etc, this will touch every aspect of the plugin.
However, categories are already an optional part of the URL.
You might choose categories like “Philadelphia Metro”
Settings adjustments –
General – Search – Individual word search limit – Disabled (was excluding two character words, so excluding PA search)
General – Search –
Limit squared distance area to X miles (helps improve search speed) – Changed from 50 to Blank (to allow state searches to return more listings)Advanced Search – NEAR AUTOCOMPLETER SETTINGS – Enable Near autocompleter – Allows choice of the appropriate location. Now it is possible to choose Pennsylvania from the list of real locations in the database.
There is a 404 on locations because there are fake locations in the location manager.
I have reset your default location to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The location like “all, all,Canada” should be merged into other real locations.

This reply has been marked as private.Shortcodes do not have a filter for a specific location, as in , it is not possible to associate a shortcode with a location to show only listings in the location.
The V1 GD Listings Map shortcode can be used to show on a map all the listings that are shown on a page.
So, you can use a GD Listings shortcode to call up the listings, then they will be shown on the GD Listings Shortcode map.
We would be happy to take a look at your settings to see if we can find the problem.
Please be sure to have completed all the steps for configuration, and do check to see that your plugins are all up to date.

August 22, 2018 at 9:15 am in reply to: apostrophe in French with the Search engin tool (in result page) #443457Hello,
We can look into this a bit further if you could share WP Admin and FTP access to the site to do some debugging.
There seems to be a problem with the widgets on the Listing and Search pages.
Please check to make sure you are using the GD > GMap Listing page widget on those pages.
The theme templates would need to be customized, and that is outside of what we can help with here in support.
You can take a look at the file called ‘/inc/geodirectory-compatibility.php’
Hello,
the only time the map shows something different is when it is in “Near Me” mode which geolocates the user and shows the user’s geolocation as a blue dot.
There isn’t a setting to show the search address on the map at this time.
It’s an interesting idea and the first time i have heard of it. We will keep it in mind for future versions.

WP Easy Updates will not update without your approval first. Each plugin that can be updated, you have to press ‘Update Now’ in order to update.
As you can see GeoDirectory is one version behind.
Please update the GD plugins so we can isolate the issue.
Hello,
Could you also please provide FTP for further troubleshooting? Thanks
You can adjust WP media settings at
