If the option is enabled, a search for A will also return listings with B, even if they do not explicitly mark A. The setting makes the results act like all listings with B also have A.
I am not understanding this. Can you say more?
This reply has been marked as private. That error is typically shown when GD Dashboard is installed on a v2 site.
#5. On some claimed listings, just under the profile image of the user (the owner who claimed the listing) the name of the user is followed by a number. See example (Simona-2) here. How can I set it to appear whithout a number?
This can be customized, here is an example : https://userswp.io/support/topic/display-name/#post-4516
#6. If I click an author’s name below his profile image on his claimed listing, it opens up a page where on the featured area it says the name of that user + the word “de profil”. See example here – click on the owner’s name right under his profile pic to see what I want to say. I want to remove those 2 words “de profil” (it’s the romanian translation for “Profile” but it has no meaning in this form)
That should be changed with translation. Find the string in the Supreme po file and replace it with a space or another character.
#7. It seems that in V2, a user can write a review without rating stars. You can see this here on the first review that appears (from the user Alexandra), and I also made 3 tests last night with 3 different listings to see if this really is possible, and it seems it is. See screenshot ‘no rating stars’. On V1, the reviews were only possible along with stars rating; I want this back.
The developers will comment on this.
#8. On V1, whenever a new user registered and left a review for a listing, I used to get 2 email notifications; one for new user, and one for new review. It seems that now, on V2, I only receive notifications for new users. I want to be also notified whenever there’s a new review on a listing, just like in V1.
Reviews use the WordPress comment system. You can either customize or use a 3rd party plugin to receive more notifications about default WP actions.
What we do include is an email notification when a review needs moderation, in GD – Settings – Email – Admin emails – Moderate comment
Guest checkout is possible, but only after the invoice has been created, and creating the invoice requires the user to be logged in with the listing having been submitted prior to entering the checkout page.
The option to “Allow posting by not logged in users” is design for use in cases where the user that is posting the event is not going to be managing the listing going ahead. For example, for community events so that visitors can quickly share about an event but not manage the event going forward.
I understand you would like to have that feature changed to do login also, but GD does not have any login related features at this time and there are no plans to add them back in.
To use GD with WPI for paid listings meaning getting the user registered and logged in using either the default WordPress /login.php or with another plugin.
This is made easier with GeoDirectory and UsersWP integration. Are you currently using that? If you are please post questions for support with registration or login to the UsersWP support forum at https://userswp.io/support/
You can read more about this here:

Thanks for writing in, I will flag your topic and someone will get back to you here ASAP.
GeoDirectory will create pages like that for each category of listings, showing all those listings in that category automatically, and with a map of just those listings, too.
Can we help you find those pages on your site where GD is installed?
This isn’t a GD feature, it is just the default WP email, so you can do it with a 3rd party plugin or a customization.
There is a snippet for that, please see: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/display-url-instead-of-text-for-fb-instagram-etc/#post-400634
URL fields actually have a number of settings available to them because they also include that title text as part of the field value. The snippet will effectively strip that out.
You can use CSS like this, and adjust it for your layout:
.geodir-post-slider{ max-width: 500px; margin: 0 auto; }See also
