The format of the CSV is not ready for import.
Please review our recommended procedure here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/import-export/#recommendedOf not, you have sample data, so you need to export the current Places, and then merge your data into that exported CSV. Only use Libre or Open office.

I have seen many directories for doctors and they usually use the Title field for the name of the doctor. Is there a reason that wouldn’t work in your case?
To add a new field, you will need to open up the CPT settings and choose a new field type, then fill out the details.
Read more about these settings here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/custom/Hello,
All email notifications are in one place under
GD – Settings – Email (tab)
Look for the pre-expiry emails under the clients subtab
We have an update for this functionality coming in the next version. Please wait for that and let us know if it fixes the issue. That should be out very very soon.
Which timezone is your site? Pacific?
You have described the way it works accurately.
To ‘force’ near searches you can disable the autocompleter for search
in the Advanced Search settings.‘Near’ suggestions will show for street addresses.

September 13, 2019 at 10:01 am in reply to: How to set a default grid on the search / archive pages? #507996You can change the layout to the grid or list you want by editing the GD Loop element on the search and archive templates
for grid 4, layout=4
Then, add some CSS to hide that layout selector:
.geodir-list-view-select { display: none!important; }More info is here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/design/layouts/We have some example CSS here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/common-examples/#gd_searchHello,
with V2 we are focused now on adding more and more options to GD Listings which can be used to display a wide variety of listings filtered and sorted and stacked.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/design/gd-listings/
GDV2 does not have a slider at this time.
You can use the shortcode builder to create a GD Listings shortcode

September 13, 2019 at 9:03 am in reply to: How do user login and logout after an upgarde to V2 #507988Try setting up the UsersWP addon to manage login and registration.
The integration is documented here:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/integrations/userswp/September 13, 2019 at 9:02 am in reply to: How to remove "Tags" from GD->Output Location 'Widget'? #507987If you don’t want tags to show, then visit the Custom Fields settings.
Find the tags field, and adjust the option “Show in extra output locations” -> Details page sidebar. Remove that display and it will not show up anymore. If there are major differences between types of classes, you can make separate Custom Post Types so they aren’t mixed in search or category pages.
If you will be listing classes and then wanting them to be ‘taken over’ by teachers or institutions you can use the Claim Listing addon.
If you will invite institutions to publish you can use Custom Post Types to link classes to locations and the Pricing Manager addon to charge them for an institution profile where they can showcase their events.
September 13, 2019 at 8:57 am in reply to: Shortcode for trending listings? And shortcode for view counts? #507985We also have the Google Analytics integration. You can set that to show to admin, listings owners, or any visitor.
