This CSS will hide the near search field
/*GDV2 Custom CSS - Hide the Search Near field in all GD Search Bars */ .gd-search-field-near { display: none; }August 28, 2019 at 12:57 am in reply to: Listings have imported but do not appear on backend or frontend #505243Indeed I do not note any issues in the files.
We can check into the issue. Could you share access credentials so we can do that?

With the Advanced Search addon installed you can visit the Events CPT Settings, and the Search tab there. You would want to add the “Event Date” start and end to the search bar.
Some fixes have been included for the next release, please wait for that.
Thanks
August 27, 2019 at 11:24 pm in reply to: What steps am I missint to achieve the Supreme Directory demo look? #505236Create one package for each ‘level’ of listing that you want to sell, for each CPT.
A good place to start is one free non-recurring package and one premium package that is featured.
You add packages from the packages tab. There is a packages tab for each CPT.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/places/packages/
1. Open packages tab
2. Edit free package and exclude some fields or categories
3. Save
4. Go back to packages tab, add a new package
5. Call it ‘premium’ and adjust the options, saveMake sure your packages are active, and that the “Packages” field has been added to the CPT.
Now when you visit the add listing page you will see the package select.
Repeat that for each CPT.
Sounds like an issue for the plugin authors of mega menu and or BB. Have you taken it to them yet?
You can do that, too.
If you are using shortcodes in the template you should always use the shortcode builder to see all the options. There are literally hundreds of them across the GD elements 🙂

Hello,
I see the issue and I have flagged your topic for the developers to take a look.
Please share FTP in case they need it for further debugging or to apply a fix.
In the future please post UsersWP topics to https://userswp.io/support/
August 27, 2019 at 10:42 pm in reply to: Categories that are not in the location must be hidden in the list #505230GD Locations, you are correct, it is not a ‘nearby’ type of feature. Improvements are planned for the feature in the future, but there are other priorities ahead of it.
We also have a task to look at the title for the Near pages in a future version, thanks for making us aware of that again.
We will be working on these for a future version but cannot give a date at this time.
If you want to use your PHP template you will need to update it to GDV2.
Instructions for customizing are here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/faq/customizing/
We are unable to support customizations here in the forum. If you need hands on help with customizing you can contact a GD Expert here.
Hello,
we have already added compatibility code for a number of sidebar managers and themes, but we might need to take a look at yours.
If you would, please share WP Admin credentials so we can take a look at the issue.
About the search, please share a search URL and tell us about the issue you are seeing.
The Popular locations widget has been changed into the GD > Locations widget/shortcode.
It will display cities only at this time but we do have plans to improve it in the future.
If there is another element you have a question about please let us know. You can read more about the GDV2 location page here:
August 27, 2019 at 10:30 pm in reply to: Unable to Access Add-Ons/GeoDirectory does not recognize membership? #505224Hello,
You will need to install and activate WP Easy Updates. https://wpeasyupdates.com/
You can read more about licensing addons and accessing automatic updates here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/addons/installing-addons/
The extensions directory is not retroactive. To use the extensions directory, you would need to deactivate any existing addons on the site and delete them, then reinstall from the extensions page after entering your membership key there. Your membership key is available from the /your-account/ page on this site.
If you still have any problems after installing WP Easy updates, please write back with WP Admin for the site in a private reply and we will take a look and find a solution for you.
Perhaps you are seeing p tags or breaking spaces being added?
Have you tried using shortcodes in a code or html module?
We have a fix for the gd maps with enfold here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/geocode-error/#post-469375
If you could share a link where you are seeing the issue, and then WP Admin credentials we can look into it further.
