You need to review your settings at WP Settings > Discussion again, they have all been emptied by those plugins you installed.
For example “Allow people to post comments on new articles” is not ticked, which means the comment system will not enable comments for new listings or posts or pages.I can see the function here: http://qwe.tpdmedia.com.au/places/australia/queensland/sunshine-coast/accommodation/jacaranda-creek-farmstay-and-bb/#reviews
You will have to revise the size of your “stars”, they are too big:
http://qwe.tpdmedia.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/outline-star-xxl.pngGD will NOT work with GoDaddy’s managed WP hosting. They cannot turn off their caching.
From https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/server-requirements/#wp: “Managed hosting is good only for blogs or static websites.”You need to move somewhere else to avoid their built-in caching system.
Once you are no longer on managed WP hosting, you will need to re-create the CPT.
Can you post URL and WP admin details, then we can have a look at your settings for you.
The CPT Categories widget will add the categories.
You’re welcome 🙂
Every page has its own widget areas.
Can you be more specific?
Do you want to use the same widget on different pages?Yes, that is expected behavior:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/faqs/how-do-i-merge-locations/Country names do follow the language of the map settings:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-countries-and-map-directions/You also need to translate the countries in your language files:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translate-core/All addons should be translated where the string is shown on the frontend of your site.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translating-addons/If adding a listing while in German mode, it should be added as a German listing only, etc.
I’ll get the others to confirm this, but I think it is best to run the site in English if you are going to use WPML, and then use the other languages as additional.
You can still set another language as the default for visitors in WPML.You need to download all the files of the plugin or theme to your computer, including the new db-translations.php file.
Open up POedit, and select “translate a plugin”
Next screen, select “create a POT file” after choosing the plugin folder.
That will create a POT file.
Now go to edit your existing DE translation, and from Catalogue, choose “update from POT”
Navigate to the POT file you created, and
DONE.Not that I know off, sorry.
Yes, you can re-arrange things in the sidebar, it all depends what you want to do.
Search the forum for geodir_detail_page_sidebarHave a look at these links:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#fieldset
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#tabIf you want fields to appear below a fieldset, you need enable “Show in More Info tab on detail page”, and drag it under the fieldset.
To move things closer together or to remove the spacer line, change some CSS:

See images for missing translation.
This reply has been marked as private.Well done 🙂
You did not translate “send enquiry” at ID 1445, you translate the one at 1792.
I’ll get the others to have a look at the custom field translations. Can you also check the FTP, it keeps timing out for me.
You’re welcome 🙂
