“This content is password protected. To view it please enter your password below:” is when you set the relevant WP page as protected; that is a WP issue.

For what it is worth, this is what I get with “intercambios” selected near the center of Madrid:

Have a look at Appearance > Widgets, and remove the GD Loginbox widget from the GD Home section [seems to be the GD Home Content section].

You temporarily upgrade the user to author or higher, and then in the listing on the backend, change the user from admin to the new owner.
Reset the user to subscriber if you like.

That is very strange, that would be the first time I see that.
It should work at
/wp-content/languages/plugins/
or
/wp-content/languages/geodirclaim/
but not at
/wp-content/languages/plugins/geodirclaim/
