My suggestion is to change to 2 CPTs with different categories, this may be handy:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/creating-different-event-types/Then you can have what you want as far as I understand.
That will allow you to have a map with one map with Jobs Wanted/Needed on the /jobs-CPT page, and then separate pages for /jobs/wanted and /jobs/needed category pages.
Thanks
I fixed this a few days ago and really thought I had notified you.
Anyway, do not delete any of the GD created pages, and for WPML to work, you need to translate every page.
ThanksMay 23, 2017 at 10:46 pm in reply to: Select Package on add-listing: no packages displaying but have 3 active ones #379769Is the order set to zero?
Make sure the packages have an order.
Please post your URL and WP admin details in a private if we need to check things out for you.
ThanksMay 23, 2017 at 10:44 pm in reply to: How to access additional fields when manually upgrading a listing #379768If the custom fields are allowed for paid listings, then they should become available when changing the package.
If they don’t, then there is something wrong.
Please post your URL and WP admin details in a private so we can check things out for you.
Also post details of the listing you have trouble with.
Thanks.I guess you mean you added a link to a video on YouTube? Why does it have to be turned off before going to another listing? Going to another listing is what will disconnect the connection to Youtube, so it should not matter.
Am I misunderstanding the question?Make sure you are using the latest language files, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/updating-your-language-files/
If ABout Me and Account Settings is not in the GD-BP file, you are most likely using an old version.
Thanks
Your languages files were out of date, I updated them as per https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/updating-your-language-files/
I placed the new ones in /wp-content/languages/pluginsYou can delete this folders after reviewing the new files:
/wp-content/languages/geodirectory
and
/wp-content/languages/geodir_paymentsAlso, your files you added to the plugin directories themselves will be deleted with the next update.
That is why you need to keep them in /wp-content/languages/pluginsThanks
Can you please post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply, so we can give you better help.
Also tell us where you are trying to add the shortcode. You cannot have any map that shows more than one CPT at the same time.
Is there a reason why you have 2 CPTs for Jobs for example, rather than separate categories in one CPT?
Because then you should be able to achieve what you describe. The gd_cpt_listings shortcode provides links to your custom post types.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/custom-post-type-shortcodes/OPTION 2:
What you describe are not usually called “memberships”, but price packages users can use to add their listings:
But to do what you want there you will need to create 6 packages:
2 x FREE: Limited features/fields with or without being featured
STANDARD: More features/fields with or without being featured
PREMIUM: Advanced features/fields with or without being featuredOPTION 3:(Per Event)
Q1. The PREMIUM will be active for ONLY Week 3, and should go back to standard after that. This will work correct?
Yes, that will work if you set the Premium to downgrade to standard on expiry. But that would mean that there is no payment taken then. Normally, packages are set to expire altogether or downgrade to a free option. Of course the user can pay another standard one to extend the listing.Q2. An event is just like a listing but with dates and times.
If a user buys a recurring listing package, that package will keep renewing until canceled or until expired if it has a limited number of renewals.
A different package can only be effected by canceling the existing one if it is a recurring one, and then get a new package.Q3. A package is featured or it is not. So to change the featured display, a new package needs to be activated somehow.
Thanks
No, there is not. The title is created using that language string, and that is the only the category pages can get the title.
You could hide the title with CSS and use the category description to add a category specific title if you like. Go to Place Categories and edit the category description there.May 23, 2017 at 3:21 am in reply to: Home page redirects on first load even though it is set not to #379616You’re welcome 🙂
Everything is working for the moment, is it not? A developer will have a look in a few hours at the GD Booster issue when they come online.
ThanksThere is some error with GD Booster, I turned it off for now, and will get a developer to look at that.
Thanks. The title on the page, ie All Accommodation and All Bike Shop?
You can do that with the language file, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/translate-core/
Look forAll %%pt_plural%% %%in_location_single%%or
All %%category%% %%in_location_single%%to “translate”
Thanks
