1) the section talking about supreme is titled “Directory Starter and its Supreme Child Theme”. Do I need to install “Directory Starter” first then supreme?
2) Where can i find an easy step by step instructions for installing and setting up the supreme theme
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/supreme-directory-overview/3) I was looking at some features Whoop. How can I get the following features using Supreme:
– Events Profile: “Are you in?” & “Who’s in?”
Events plugin and “Are you interested” widget:
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/category/addons/event-manager/
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/events-addon-widgets/#interested– “compliments”
https://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress-compliments/– “My lists”
Install GD Lists: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/category/addons/gd-lists/– “Forums”
https://wordpress.org/plugins/bbpress/4) In Supreme: for the Search and listings page. How can I get more filter options. For ex: some that are here:
– “Price”
Add custom fields: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#custom– “Open Now”
Will be available in V2, major update coming.– “Most Reviewed”, “Highest Rated”, “Highest Rated”
Install MultiRatings: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/category/addons/multiratings-and-reviews/– “Features”
Add custom fields: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-place-settings/#custom5) Is “List manager” what is used in whoop’s “Lists”? How would i add / integrate the “List Manager”. I want people to be able to create itineraries, share them AND for peope to be able to give it a star rating, this way I could have a section for most popular lists / itineraries
Please see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/category/addons/gd-lists/6) I want to have affiliate links on my directory for hotels etc. would the “AffiliateWP Integration” add on help for that?
Affiliate WP Integration is to pay your affiliates for referrals, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/affiliatewp-integration-add-on-overview/
To add affiliate links to your own directory, you do not need anything extra.7) In the search bar can the compass icon be changed for a “near me” button?
Yes, similar to this: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/common-styling-examples/#cog8) Is the “Best of Whoop” section using the popular widget / addon for each category and “popular events”?
That is the Best Of widget: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/widgets/#bestofwidget9) how have i implement a map cluster at the bottom portion of my homepage
USe the Marker Cluster addon: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/category/addons/marker-cluster/10) I want to have business hours that show when the business is closed etc
Will be available in V2, major update coming.11) How can i set up recurring payments
Use the Pricing Manager with PayPal, 2CO or Stripe.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/category/addons/prices-and-payments/12) Is there an addon for business profile stats? or is there a way to assign google analytics to a specific business page where the client could see number of visits etc
Please review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-core-plugin-google-analytics/13) on https://wpgeo.directory/supreme-directory/ search bar theres a pull down for “places” and “events”. I want it to have tabs instead. how would i do this?
That requires customization.14) For the events search bar how can i add the “start date”, “end date”
That is a standard feature using Events Manager and the Advanced Search addons:
See example at https://wpgeo.directory/docs/events/15) Before there wasnt an option if the event goes past midnight for time. does it go past midnight now?
Yes16) Is there an addon, plugin or widget to set up the pricing table?
See https://wpgeodirectory.com/are-pricing-tables-slowing-down-your-site/17) is there an addon/feature in case the business wants to offer coupons/deal?

You are using /events/ for GD Events Manager and another Events plugin.
De-activate the other Events plugin, or
change the slug of Events at GD > Custom Post Types > Events2) Do you have an estimated date of launch for V2?
For use on live sites, it will be quite a few weeks away still.3) How do I get “Recent Posts” on my homepage to look like the “Featured Places” & “upcoming events” with the 4 thumbnails etc
Create a GD Custom Post Type to use for blog posts, then you can use the Popular Post widget there.4) im going to be creating weekly lists.
I suggest to create a temporary category. That way you can assign places to that category, add category specific text, and when no longer requires, you can delete the category.5) How would i be able to set this up with GD. Could this be done as an event category and attach a place to it?
Please review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/linking-events-to-places/6) IMPORT: Im interested in setting up some businesses on an excel to import it to GD so i just downloaded the sample csv. Questions are as follows.
Do not use Excel, see https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/#important– If I dont have the “post_latitude” and “post_longitude” will it find the address anyway?
No, you will need lat and lng. There are tools to find them: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/#resources– For the image row it only has “img1.jpg” as an example. What would be the rest of the image source url?
That is all that is required. Once you import the listings, you need to upload the images.
https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/#images– For the Events import. Where do we enter the info if the event is a recurrung event?
Export the CSV listings you have and you will see the extra columns for Events. Thanks

See also https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/definitions/#location2. To get lat and lng in bulk, review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/#resources
3. To get a map on the homepage, add the GD Home Map widget to Appearance > Widgets > GD Home Content.
